Sage Advice for Your Internet Business: Do THIS Slowly, and THAT Quickly

I’m a big advocate for outsourcing certain aspects of your internet business. It’s an excellent way to keep the ball rolling on several fronts, which will make you achieve your end goal faster.

Tasks like getting your website built or writing a Kindle book can largely be outsourced to professionals who are likely more practiced at it than you are. However, there’s one critical piece of advice I’ll share with you about hiring and firing outsourcers who help you build your online business.

When it comes to outsourcers for your internet business: hire slowly and fire quickly.

In other words, shop around and talk to several potential freelancers before you choose one to work with. The same goes for virtual assistants, graphics designers, project managers, and every other outsourced service you hire out. Be careful about selecting the people you partner with.

On the other hand, if an outsourcer proves to be more of a burden than a blessing, it’s important to quickly cut them loose and find yourself a better partner. You don’t want to drag their dead weight while you’re trying to build your business.

Great outsourcers are worth their weight in gold. When you find one who understands what you’re all about, who is easy to work with, who anticipates your needs before you do, it’s almost like discovering a soul mate! A tremendous amount of time and effort goes into building a business; it’s a big help when you can spread out the time and effort a little bit.
