Recently I journeyed to Nicaragua, where I volunteered and spent two days building two houses for two families in need, that I funded this year.
Statistics show that, in Nicaragua, a country of 6 million people, the total housing deficit is estimated at 957,000. Overcrowding, inappropriate sanitary conditions, vulnerability to crime, and indoor air pollution are all too familiar for most families.
Nicaragua is also one of the poorest countries in Latin America. 80% of the population lives on less than $2/day. Because of the overwhelming poverty, many families and children do not have the means to have suitable housing.
Hearing these sobering statistics puts your life into perspective. Unlike most of us, these people don’t have the opportunities to create passive income or start a business – it is not a reality for them.
Many of these people don’t even have basic human needs, like food, water and shelter. We are so blessed to live the lives we do. I'm looking forward to building something that will last for years to come and that will change a lot of lives.
It has been such a humbling, rewarding experience to give back to a part of the world that is suffering from so much poverty. Im looking forward to building something that will last for years to come, and that will change a lot of lives.

Be a part of the movement that helps end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in communities that need it most. We cant solve all of the worlds problems, but we can make a difference.
As Ghandi once said, “be the change that you wish to see in the world”.
