Hey, everyone, this is Stefan from ProjectLifeMastery.com and in this video I'm going to share with you guys the most important productivity strategy that has transformed my level of achievement, that's allowed me to make the biggest quantum leap in achieving the big goals, the big results that I'm after.
Vital 3 strategy
Your vital 3 are essentially the 3 most important highest leverage actions that you should be taking that will lead you to the result or the goal that you're after.
Now with any goal that you set for yourself whether it's business, health, and fitness, relationship, any goal that you have, understand there's always so many things you could be doing, right. There are so many actions, there are so many strategies, there are so many rituals and routines and books you should be reading.
There are so many actions that can allow you to make progress and achieve that goal however by focusing on everything that's not the most efficient way that I've learned in order to achieve a goal.
The 80 20 principle states that 20% of your actions are going to lead to 80% of the results. Your vital 3 is essentially you just focusing on, with whatever goal that you have, the 3 most important things. You've got to identify and focus every day on those 3 most important things that will allow you to achieve your goal.
Everything else outside of that vital 3, they might be important, they might be still things that you can do but they're not as important and they always much lower priority for you. For myself, I'll give you an example of my business I've been able to identify, there are three primary things that I need to be able to focus on every day in my business that's going to bring the biggest results and rewards in my business, the growth, everything else.
Everything else that is involved in my business I try to free myself of. I try to hire other people, outsource, automate it in some way so that I can free up more of my time and my mental energy to focus on my vital 3.
1. Creating high-quality content
That's one thing that brings me the biggest rewards in my business, it allows me to reach thousands of people just like you watching this video right now. It allows me to add value. It allows me to improve myself as a speaker, as a communicator. I learn a lot in the process as well.
I get a lot from sharing because it helps reinforce certain things in my life also. Creating content can be creating videos, it could be creating audio, doing podcasts, it could be writing articles, it could be creating online training programs, it could be doing interviews with people and things of that nature.
Creating content, that's one of the most important things that I try to focus on as much as possible. I don't edit my videos myself, I get someone else to do that for me. I don't put my videos in the blog post, I don't transcribe them, I have other people that do those things for me now so I can focus on just that one thing of creating the content because I want to free myself up as much as possible to create that content. I have the systems in place for people to take care of everything else.
2. Creating systems, training and managing team
I have an awesome team of people, I already mentioned a few, my video editor, I've got someone that turns my videos into a podcast, we put them up on our iTunes podcast. I have someone who transcribes the videos and puts the blog post together and everything.
I've got a great customer support team, I've got graphic designers, web designer, programmers. I've got Pay per Click, advertise manager, I've affiliate manager, I have a really amazing team, virtual assistants to help me grow my business. One of the rules that are very high leverage for me is working with my team, overseeing my team, there's a lot of back and forth that I have.
If I'm getting a new website done or graphics were done I go back and forth. I'm always learning and sharing with my team, helping them improve their systems and optimize themselves to be more productive so we can grow the business.
By doing that, by focusing on just helping my team do their job I'm able to grow even faster because I'm not a one-man show, I have all these people and all these systems in place that are helping me grow much faster and they're also freeing up my time so I don't have to do all those other things that I used to be doing when I was starting out. It's allowing me to focus on the things that matter the most.
Managing my team, creating systems is a very important thing. That's one thing that eventually I won't be doing because eventually I'm going to have a COO and somebody who can manage the team. I already have one person who helps manage my teams already but the more that I can free myself up that's just going to give me more time to focus on the content and adding as much value as possible to creating high-quality content.
3. Always improving myself
The third thing, the third thing part of my vital 3 is learning, improving myself and implementing new strategies in my business okay. I believe as an entrepreneur one of the highest, one of the most important things you should be doing is always learning, always upgrading you, always improving yourself. One thing that Jim Rowens says is that if you want to change or if you want things to change you have to change.
If you change everything will change for you. You should always work harder on yourself than you do on your job or your business. I'm always working on myself. I'm always reading books, I'm always going to training programs, working with coaches, going through different seminars and products and things of that nature so I can improve.
Guess what, the more things that I learn and grow that's more content I can share with my videos and articles and products and courses, there's more information I can share with my team and help create different systems and implement what we're learning into my business.
It allows me to scale up and do the first two things that much better. Learning and implementing strategies, very high leverage thing. That's my vital 3 in my business. With my body and my fitness my vital 3 is working out every day, every day it's a must whether it's doing cardio, doing something with weights. Eating well, following a certain diet plan and just eating well to support my body, my body's growth, my body's recovery.
The third thing is developing my mindset, making sure that I'm motivated, that I have the right belief systems, that I'm consuming information related to fitness and health that will allow me to achieve my goals even better. Developing my mindset, very, very important.
Find and focus on your Vital 3
My point is in any area of your life there's a vital 3. You've got to identify what those 3 things are that are the most important things that only you can do, that you're the best at that you need to focus on and master. Don't try to do everything by yourself, try to outsource, try to find people. Now when you're first starting out you are going to have to do most things on your own but you want to find a way to outsource as quickly as possible.
Reinvest some of that profit back into your business to hire people, to automate, find the software, everything you need to automate the system so you can focus more on those 3 most important things that are going to take you to the next level and continue allowing you to grow your business or any other area of your life.
I really want to encourage you guys to identify what your vital 3 are. If you want to leave a comment below this video share what your vital 3 are in your business or any area of your life. I'd love to hear what they are. Whatever those are, trying to do those as much as possible, first thing in the day. Emails, social media, Facebook, all those things can wait.
All those things are often distractions of the most important things that you should be doing in your business or in your life that will allow you to achieve your goal.
You always want to do those things as early as possible in the day when you have the most willpower, when you have the most energy because if you leave it to the end then you're going to be tired, you're not going to have as much willpower, you're going to make excuses and you're not going to be likely to do those vital 3 and make the progress that you want.
I try to do them as early as possible and focus the majority of my time on those things and eliminate everything else whether that's cooking meals, cleaning my apartment, any of that stuff I try to eliminate that so I can spend more of my time doing my vital 3.
That's my little productivity tip and strategy for you guys today. It's really made a big difference in my productivity. Make sure to like this video, leave a comment, let me know what you think, I'll talk to you guys again soon. Take care.
