The best way to start an online business is to just START.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect business model, or the perfect course to start. A lot of people have the desire to make progress in their online business, but they don't. If you are someone that has been sitting on the fence, know that now is the time to dive in!
I'm not saying this to offend you. Rather, I want to get your attention so that you feel empowered to break the pattern of being stuck. All that matters is that you do something.
Taking massive action is how you learn and grow. Don't get caught up in the knowing stage. True mastery is achieved when you are doing and living something. That is what leads to results in life. What you need right now is to gain experience. You could start a YouTube channel, a Facebook page or a blog. I don't care what it is. It may not be the most ideal thing. However, anything is better than what you are doing right now, which is nothing.
Research by psychologists Arie Kruglanski and Tory Higgins suggests that we have two complementary motivational systems: the “thinking” system and the “doing” system. Generally, we are only capable of using one at a time. If you get caught up in the thinking mode, you won't make any progress in life. Change can only manifest itself through action.
If you are not getting the results that you want, it's time to stop thinking and start doing.
Experience is what will allow you to cultivate and develop the skills that you need in order to be successful in business. If you just pick one skill and practice mastering it, over time, you will make income from it. There are so many opportunities online. You just have to pick one. If you end up changing your mind down the road, that's OK. You won't have wasted your time because you will have gained knowledge that you can take with you to the next opportunity.
When I first started my entrepreneurial journey, I dabbled with a lot of different things. Even though I experienced a lot of failures, the process of taking action allowed me to develop a solid skill set. By the time that I started my online business, Project Life Mastery in 2012, I had a huge advantage. I had a wealth of knowledge at my fingertips. As a result, I was able to accelerate my business success.
Successful people make clear decisions and they stick with them.
Instead of allowing fear and doubt to hold them back, they are constantly adapting and changing. Trust me when I say that there is a cost of inaction. Every day that you aren't taking action, you are losing money. More importantly, you are missing out on designing the life of your dreams. You start creating your dream life the moment that you say, “I'm going to do this one thing. It may not be right, but I'm going to go all in and try.”
Yes, you may fall. However, all that matters is that you pick yourself back up and keep moving forward. If you can do this, opportunities will start opening up for you. You will start to figure out what your strengths are. From there, you can modify the direction of your life in a way that serves your highest self. Every entrepreneur that I know experiences a lot of highs and lows along their journey. That's just how business works. However, if you can learn how to trust the process, you will achieve success in life.

If you continue to wait eventually you will lose interest and check out altogether. Don't ever give up on your dreams. Be a doer and take action. More importantly, never stop believing in yourself. Have faith that you are on the right track and that you will get to where you want to go.
