We all want to know how to make more money.
Whether you're currently an employee or a business owner, there are many ways that you can increase the money that you make.
The most universal answer for how to make more money is something that I learned from Jim Rohn.
Jim Rohn, the well-known motivational speaker, once said:
“You get paid for bringing value to the marketplace, and if you’re not very valuable you don’t make much money.”
He said that the secret to making more money is to become more valuable.
What does this mean?
It means improving yourself. Self-development.
Reading more books, attending more seminars, investing in more programs, hiring coaches and mentors.
The more knowledge, skills and wisdom you attain, the more value you can provide to your employer or your business and customers.

How many books are you currently reading?
How many seminars have you attended in the last year?
How many online training programs have you invested in?
How many coaches and mentors have you been learning from?
Who are the friends and people in your life? Are they living at a higher level than you, bringing you closer to what you want?
These are all VERY important questions that you need to look at and answer.
As the saying goes, “The more you learn, the more you earn.”
If you notice in my Monthly Goals Reports, I invest in myself a lot. A lot of my goals are seminars, online programs, and books that I'm investing in and consuming.
Improving myself and self-growth is very important to me, as you can probably tell.
If you knew me back when I was 17 years old, I was probably even crazier about self-improvement than I am today.
From 17 to 24, I was in the “desperation” phase of my life. I was unhappy and doing everything I could to change my circumstances. During these times, the pain that I felt drove me to learn and invest in myself as much as possible.
When I had NO MONEY, I was still attending seminars and finding ways to get my hands on books and access to mentors.
I have many memories of paying for coaching or programs on credit cards, with money I didn't even have.
I don't recommend doing that, however, I was willing to put it all on the line to change my life. I knew the cost and consequences of not investing in myself.
Over time, the more I invested in myself, the more my life improved.
Fast-forward to where I'm at today in my life – I can say all of the success and results I have is because of all of the past investments I've made in myself. It's all paid off and will continue to for the rest of my life.
So if you want to know how to make more money, then it all starts with YOU. Investing in yourself.
Another favourite quote of mine from Jim Rohn's is: “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”
Always keep that in mind.
If you're already investing in yourself, then great! Keep it up.
