How To Find Your Passion In Life

Here are 5 tips to help you learn how to find your passion in life.

1. Keep An Open Mind

It's important to always stay open-minded at all times, as you never know what could lead you to finding your passion.

2. Experiment And Try As Many Things As Possible

The more things you try and experiment with, the higher chances you'll have to finding what you really love.

3. What Did You Love To Do When You Were A Kid?

Ask yourself, “What did you love to do when you were 12 years old?”  Often times, you'll be able to find your passion in life based on certain things you used to love to do when you were younger, but might have lost touch with.

4. What Would You Do If Money Wasn't An Issue?

If you didn't get paid for it, what would you be doing?  I believe your passion in life is essentially a “hobby that you get paid for”.  Take money out of the equation though, what would it be?

5. Develop Yourself Through Self-Improvement

The more you improve yourself and get to know yourself, the more it will lead you to finding your passion in life.  Keep reading books, attending seminars, going to retreats, hiring coaches, and you'll be amazed how you'll soon discover your passion in life.

Ultimately, to learn how to find your passion in life, it requires patience.  Keep on the path of discovery and self-improvement.  Continue seeking it and you will find it.

I've found one of the most important things you can do is to continue asking questions.  Be curious and keep asking yourself, “What am I passionate about?” and you'll be amazed with the answers.

Don't be picky either.  Often times, being a perfectionist can hold people back from finding their passion in life.  In a video blog I did on how to find your purpose in life, I spoke about how you want to just DECIDE WHAT IT IS.  Don't make finding your passion a big, unattainable thing – make it achievable.

Keep in mind, your passions always change.  What you might find you're passionate about today, might become boring for you tomorrow.  Be adaptable and be willing to evolve your passion.

When trying to discover how to find your passion in life, be prepared for it to change and evolve as you grow and evolve.

Also, sometimes what you're doing can turn into your passion.  I've noticed that happen with myself.  Sometimes you're on a path to doing something everyday and the more you do it, the more passionate you become about it.  You start to love it, enjoy it, and get addicted to it.

That's why you also have to give things time.  And again, always ask yourself “How can I be more passionate about what I'm doing right now?”
