Success Is SIMPLE… Repeat These 2 Steps To Become A Millionaire

Success is simple. Don't make it more complex than it needs to be.

A lot of people fall victim to the complexity bias, which is a tendency to look at something that is easy to understand and view it as having many parts that are difficult to understand.

As you can imagine, this mindset can cause a lot of frustration and inaction.

Don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying that achieving success is easy. However, I believe that success becomes easy once you have mastered the mindset of success.

Are you ready to learn the 2 steps that you must repeat on a consistent basis if you want to become a millionaire?

Success isn't a result. Rather, it's a habit.

There is so much emphasis placed on achieving results, but there is a lack of interest in the process that is required to achieve success. The reality is that you cannot control results and outcomes, so there's no point obsessing over them. All that you have control over is the specific actions that you take every single day towards the achievement of your goals.

Focusing on the process of success is a habit in and of itself. Unfortunately, a lot of people get addicted to achieving. They forget that success isn't a sprint, but a marathon. When they don't get results fast enough, they give up. This dabbler mentality keeps them trapped in a state of inaction.

The master acknowledges that small, everyday decisions build upon one another and lead to big results. Don't get me wrong, one small decision isn't going to change your entire life. However, what about 10, 20, 50 or even 100 of them? Eventually, success starts flowing into your life in massive quantities because of the time and effort that you put into the achievement of your goals.

In his book, The Compound Effect, Darren Hardy argues that small changes, when done consistently, create enormous results. As he says, “It's not the big things that add up in the end; it's the hundreds, thousands, or millions of little things that separate the ordinary from the extraordinary.”

There are 2 steps that I have engaged in on a daily basis that has allowed me to achieve success at a relatively young age.

Step 1 – Commit To Learning

If you want to achieve success in life you must commit to learning. People who possess a growth mindset actively do the work to stretch themselves. They seek to grow and improve in every area of their lives. For instance, research shows that growth-minded individuals perceive task setbacks as a necessary part of the learning process and they “bounce back” by increasing their motivational effort.

Nobody has all of the answers. If they say they do, they're lying. Successful people don't assume that they know everything. Rather, they are passionately curious, always looking for new experiences that will allow them to learn and become more.

An inflated ego won't get you anywhere in life. In fact, it can become one of the biggest barriers to your personal growth. I believe that the three most dangerous words in the human vocabulary are, “I know that.” The moment that you speak these words, you shut your mind off from learning of any kind.

This is why I am always studying people who are more successful than me. By implementing their learning strategies and mastering their inner game, I fast track my success. Success always leaves clues. It's your job to look for them.

Step 2 – Take Massive Action

Taking action is the only way to achieve success in life. If you don't do something with the knowledge that you consume, you are only wasting time, energy, and money. I see a lot of people get too carried away with consuming knowledge, to the point that it becomes a deterrent to their success.

When you are engaged in a process of learning, it's easy to adopt the illusion that you are making progress. Yes, you will make shifts in your mindset, but you won't be growing in the way that you are supposed to grow. The only way that you make progress in life is by taking action.

If I spend one hour learning something, I spend two hours taking action. I learn and then I do. By engaging in this two-step process, I achieve results on a consistent basis. If you wait to take action you get yourself into trouble and risk falling into analysis paralysis.

Keep in mind that success is intentional. You can't just say that you want something. You've actually got to take action and do something. In the words of Carl Jung, “You are what you do, not what you say you'll do.” Making the decision to take action requires that you step outside of your comfort zone and are willing to fail. Trust me when I say that playing it safe doesn't help you win in the game of life.

This is where people's limiting beliefs, fears, and doubts come into play. Your mind is going to tell you all the reasons why you can't do something. Quiet this inner voice and act in spite of it.

Success is simple if you commit to learning and taking massive action.

This is how I have been able to become a millionaire, and there is no reason why you can't achieve the same success. You owe it to yourself to grow and develop into the person that you've always desired to be. Are you ready to implement these habits of success and take your life to the next level?
