My Complete Book Library Revealed

What kind of books do I read?  I'm about to reveal my complete book library and share with you some of my top book recommendations for changing your life.  Since I just moved out of my apartment recently, I decided that I'd shoot a video to go through my entire bookshelf and show you what I read.  You'll quickly see that I read books on A LOT of different topics - from health, fitness, business, marketing, finance, productivity, biographies, self-help, etc...  I read and consume books that can improve ALL areas of my life.  By constantly learning and improving myself, I am able to grow and make continue to make a difference here on my blog.

In the video below, I go through my bookshelf fairly quickly.  I make a few comments on some of the books that have stood out to me, but unfortunately it'd take me hours to talk about each one.  The truth is, EVERY book that I've read has had an impact on my life, during whatever stage of life that I was in while reading it.  I don't believe there's such a thing as a "bad book", as I think every book and every experience in life can provide value.  Even if I get one idea from that book, then that is enough to change my life.  I've also included a list of all the books that are in the video below, so you can check them out for yourself on Amazon.  There are actually MORE books that I've read than this current list in storage somewhere, but this is a good start that should keep anyone busy. :-)… [Read more...] about My Complete Book Library Revealed

Fitbit Review – The #1 Wireless Pedometer, Activity And Sleep Tracker

I want to share with you my favorite new little gadget for the summer, Fitbit.  Both Tony Robbins and Tim Ferriss both rave about this wireless pedometer, activity and sleep tracker.  Tim Ferriss mentioned it in his The 4 Hour Body book and Tony Robbins in his The Path To Permanent Weight Loss program.  I decided to invest in it recently and have been loving it so far  In fact, I never leave the house without it.  I use it to track my daily activity, steps I've taken, calories burned, my sleep quality, and even weight and body measurements.  You attach this little gadget onto your pants, pocket, belt or bra, and everything is automatically synced to their website when you're nearby your computer.  I recorded a Fitbit review video below that shares more about my experience with it and I even share the results I've experienced over a few weeks of using it on their website.

Fitness Progress Report #8: How To Achieve Your Fitness Goals

Only 3 days remaining until the WBFF Fitness Model Competition on June 23rd, 2012 in Vancouver.  I've been focused on peaking this last week with my coach, lowering my sodium levels and manipulating the water in my body.  I'm very excited, because I'm so close to achieving my goal and commitment that I set out back in February in my Journey To The WBFF Fitness Model Competition video blog.

Fitness Progress Report #7: 17 Days Remaining Until WBFF

Only 17 days remaining until the WBFF competition on June 23, 2012 in Vancouver, BC!  I've been very consistent these last two weeks, since my last Fitness Progress Report, and things are coming along well.  I've been lowering carb intake slowly, as instructed by my coach, and have been starting to tighten up a bit more.  It's a very fine line between getting really lean, without losing much of my size.  But I've noticed these last two weeks that I've gotten smaller after taking my measurements.

I recently just bought my speedo swim trunks for my competition and have been starting to practice posing a bit more.  It's an area I don't know much about, but am just trying to practice and learn as much as I can from watching videos on YouTube.  I've also begun visualizing myself competing more and more, to give myself that sense of certainty and comfort.  There's a book that I picked up called Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz that I was recommended by a friend who competed before, which I'll be reading over the next two weeks.… [Read more...] about Fitness Progress Report #7: 17 Days Remaining Until WBFF
