I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year. This is my June 2014 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.
Since sharing my Monthly Goals Reports since January, I received such an amazing response from people on my blog. People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress. It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My Goals Breakdown
I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2014 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it. Also, be sure to check out the original 2014 goals and resolution video blog and my previous Monthly Goal Reports to compare my progress.
Health & Fitness
1. I will easily be 160 lbs at 6% body fat and compete in the WBFF on July 26, 2014.
Previous Month: 148 lbs at 6% body fat
After having a few struggles with my diet early in June, I snapped things in gear in the last two weeks of the month and have been on fire with my diet ever since!
One thing that has made it easier has been my coach now adding 300 calories to my diet everyday. I'm now consuming around 2300 calories per day (200g of protein, 250g of carbs, 50-60g of fat) which is now allowing me to fill out more and is increasing my size.
My body was depleted for months while I was at such a caloric deficit that it was affecting my hormones, making me tired and affecting my state. Lesson learned: don't diet for more than 3 months at a time!
I'm not too concerned about my weight anymore, it's more so how I look and ensuring that I look as good as possible on July 26th for the WBFF. I'm on track with it and putting my trust in my coach, who has got me this far. For July, I'll be raising my standards even more and getting even more focused on this goal.
I've included some pictures below so you can see and compare my progress.
2. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
I haven’t focused on this goal yet and plan on doing the cleanse sometime during the end of the year.
Finances
3. I will easily be making $30,000/month consistently by December 31, 2014.
Result: $61,075.09
Previous Month: $43,419.95
Turns out June was the highest grossing month that I've ever had in my life! I've definitely continued to eclipse the original goal of making $30,000 per month at the start of the year. In June, I made $61,075.09 from all of my different income streams. The highest I've ever made previous was over $50,000 in a month a few months ago, so I was surprised to see things increase so drastically so fast.
Below, I break down the different sources of my online income so that you can see where it's coming from. I don't share specifics about particular websites due to the protection of certain creative endeavours I'm involved in.
Clickbank: $19,355.60
My Clickbank earnings include the Mastering Book Publishing course, 6 other Clickbank products that I sell (which I keep private) and affiliate earnings. Income here dropped after the launch of my course The 24 Hour Book System during May. My Mastering Book Publishing course has been growing every month and I’ve been taking a lot of action to making it one of the best courses out there for helping people make money online. I’m very proud of the progress I’ve been making with it. I also continue to make passive income from several products that I sell on Clickbank that I started 4 years ago that continue to make me money on autopilot. And finally, a large portion of the income is also from affiliate earnings that I get from this blog and other websites that I have also.
Kindle Publishing: $8,144.61
My Kindle publishing earnings include all the royalties that were deposited into my bank account for June from all 100+ Kindle e-books that I sell on Amazon. My earnings from Kindle has been steady and consistent, which has been cool. I have some books that fluctuate in earnings and I've been implementing a new strategy for Kindle publishing, but primarily using my Kindle books to funnel into backend businesses that I have. I've realized I can begin making MORE money on the backend from my Kindle books than I will on the front end, which has been very appealing to me. I've begun teaching this new strategy in my Full Disclosure members area for Mastering Book Publishing.
ShareASale: $158.77
This is more affiliate commissions that I earned from promoting some products on my blog.
Coaching: $7,302.16
This is earnings from 1-on-1 coaching that I do with my clients, as well as the Project Life Mastery Mastermind Group that I offer for people that want to work with me. While coaching isn't a passive income stream by any means, it is something that I enjoy doing and get a lot of fulfillment from. I love working with people and seeing the success they have by applying what I teach them. I have many long-term clients that pay me every month and I continue to help them build their businesses and make money online.
Other: $25,193.95
This is all a bunch of other income that wasn’t worthwhile separating into new sections, but it includes payments from a few affiliate promotions that I did during June, as well as earnings from Udemy and Fiverr.
Rental Income: $950
This income isn’t internet related, but I still included it since I wanted to add up my gross income for June. I have an investment property that I rent out every month – I don’t make any passive income from it, it just covers my mortgage.
I was amazed to see such a increase in my income during June, especially since I feel I didn't work that much. One of the biggest reasons for the increase was I got paid out for some affiliate promotions I did a few months before. But, this is the power of passive income. I've developed systems that all run on autopilot that continue to make me consistent passive income every month. I also continue to focus on adding value to others and contributing, but for the most part, most of my video blogs are all automated too! It's exciting to see how things will continue to increase for me by the end of the year.
4. I will easily have saved at least $100,000 by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I achieved this goal in May, which was much earlier than I expected. I wanted to have saved at least $100,000 of liquid cash that I could have in my company, not including from the investments that I make every month. Every month, I focus on investing much of the money that I earn into stocks, mutual funds, saving for real estate properties, as well as back into my business. I always believed that it's not how much you make, but how much you KEEP. Learning how to manage money has been an important priority over the years that has allowed me to build my net worth to where it is today.
Business
5. I will easily have published at least 100 videos blogs on Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: 46 video blogs
Previous Month: 36 video blogs
During June I published 10 video blogs on ProjectLifeMastery.com, with the total video blogs for this year being 46. Here they are below:
Kindle Money Mastery Is Helping Regular People Quit Their Jobs! [PROOF INSIDE]
Willpower vs. Wantpower – How To Get Yourself To Do Anything
My Money Blueprint – The Exact Money Beliefs And Mindset That Has Made Me Rich
I cranked things up with the video blogs during June, publishing 10! It was nice to take a break from some other projects so that I could really focus on this more. I've been receiving some great feedback on all the content that I've been putting out lately, which is encouraging.
6. I will easily launch my new money-making course by May 1, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t had a chance to focus on this too much right now. Currently don’t want to switch gears too much from Kindle, as I’m getting a lot of momentum in that space. I did launch a new course on The 24-Hour Book System on May 1st, but I don't count this as part of this goal, as I was originally planning to launch something outside of the Kindle publishing arena. Will likely begin to focus on this more in a few months.
7. I will easily launch my new Kindle service by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I ended up achieving this goal during February and launched my Done-For-You Kindle Ready Book Packages, which sold out in one hour! I made 10 packages available that each consisted of a professionally written Kindle book consisting of over 5,000 words in a profitable niche, a quality e-cover with stock photos, as well as a description for the book. I was absolutely blown away by how fast it sold out, as I didn't even launch it to my entire e-mail list – only my Mastering Book Publishing members. Since there was such a big demand for this, I decided to launch this again during June and it also sold out in a matter of hours!
8. I will easily launch my own Kindle software by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
I’m super excited about this project as I have a team of software developers and designers working on it. This is my first software that I’m developing and there’s been a bit of a learning curve with it. I’m investing a lot of time and money into this, but I know it will pay off in the long-run and help a lot of people (while solving my problems too). Things couldn’t be moving along better here – hoping to get this launched in the coming months. It's currently in testing mode.
9. I will easily launch my new coaching program by March 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
Launching my new coaching program was a big achievement for me during March. I decided that I'd take on more clients this coming year and put together some coaching packages that would allow me to help people make money online. While my rates for working with me 1-on-1 are fairly expensive as my time is limited, I decided to also put together a Group Coaching Mastermind for those that are unable to afford to work with me 1-on-1. This has allowed me to form a mastermind group and work with people in a group setting, which so far has been excellent. If you want to find out about my new coaching program, click here.
10. I will easily complete Autoresponder Madness and implement what I learned into my business by March 1, 2014.
Result: Delayed, in progress
This project has been delayed much longer than I expected, as I realized that I need to finish some other projects that are more urgent and are required for me to complete this course. I'll definitely be getting around to this goal later, as it's still a high priority for me and it's actually one of my favourite online marketing courses ever.
11. I will easily launch the new design for Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
This design is almost ready, just working out tweaks on it now before I launch it. I had to switch designers as the previous one I was using wasn't able to complete the job. This has been massively delayed, but once it's up it'll be worth the wait!
12. I will easily write and launch a new Kindle e-book by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
Yes! Another goal achieved for this year already. I wrote, launched and released my latest book called Kindle Marketing Secrets – 33 Ways To Promote Your Kindle Book And Get More Sales. So far, I've received an awesome response from it and people have been loving it. It's also selling really well and is something that will continue to make me passive income for years to come, as well as promote my Mastering Book Publishing course.
13. I will easily launch my own physical product on Amazon by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
This is a new goal that I've set for myself since signing up for the Amazing Selling Machine. The goal is to launch my own physical product on Amazon to sell, which will likely be a supplement (still brainstorming). Some progress has been made on this, but it will likely be delayed and focused on more later in the year as I've decided to put some projects on hold during summertime.
Lifestyle
14. I will easily move into the Sheraton Wall Centre penthouse on the 48th floor in downtown Vancouver by February 1, 2014.
I moved into the penthouse at the Sheraton Wall Centre on the 48th floor overlooking beautiful Vancouver on February 1st. It’s a $1.7 million dollar penthouse and it’s still surreal. Just a few years ago I was broke and struggling, living in my friends living room… and now I’m living in a penthouse! Very awesome. 🙂 I’ve now furnished the place (which was a lot of work), and now I’m still furnishing it with smaller items. I’ll have to do a video blog and give a tour of the place once everything is set up.
15. I will easily own and be driving a Corvette Stingray by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
This was a goal that I achieved during March. Soon after doing my February Monthly Goals Report, I started researching the Corvette Stingray and just wanted to see what was available in Vancouver. I soon learned that there was only a small limited supply of these cars made available in Canada, as each dealership is only given one and they recently arrived here. Every place that I contacted no longer had it available, except for one. I ended up buying the next day the only 2014 Corvette Stingray that was left in British Columbia. Was it meant to be? I think so!
Very excited to have achieved this goal. It was much earlier than I expected, but I was able to take decisive action on it and I don't regret it one bit. I've included a picture of me below with it. 🙂
16. I will easily spend a weekend in California by August 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I achieved this goal in June! The plan was to originally go to Las Vegas for a weekend, but I changed it to go to San Jose, California with my sister to the Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Within event. It was my 6th or 7th time going (I can't keep track) and it was a remarkable experience to share with my sister. We had a blast!
17. I will easily spend 2.5 weeks in Bali, Indonesia by February 1, 2014.
I spent most of January in Bali, Indonesia and had a blast. I travelled with my friend Mike and I recorded a lot of videos while there. It’s absolutely beautiful there and I highly recommend to go if you get a chance!
18. I will easily travel to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
19. I will easily take a 1-week vacation and travel somewhere by December 31, 2014.
Result: Booked trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
I've just booked my ticket to go to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil on July 29th for 2.5 weeks! The reason why this trip came together is because my new girlfriend just left for Brazil a few days ago to volunteer for 2 months, so I decided that I'd visit her right after my fitness competition. I'm super excited for this trip, it couldn't have come together better. I'm also super excited for my new relationship, I feel blessed to have attracted such an amazing girlfriend that has brought so much joy and fulfillment to my life over the last month and a half.
Social & Relationship
20. I will easily go out and socialize and have fun at least 3 times per week by December 31, 2014.
Result: Been going out 3 times per week
I've kept this goal going and stepped it up more during June. I wanted to take more time off and enjoy myself more during the summer. Most of my time was spent with friends, family, and with my girlfriend. I've learned more and more how important it is to really enjoy life fully and that life is about magic moments.
21. I will easily have a fun get together and party once a month at my penthouse by December 31, 2014.
Result: BBQ with friends on the beach
During June, I decided to host a BBQ with friends at the beach and have that as my fun get together. Was great to be outdoors and hang out with so many amazing friends that I haven't seen in awhile.
Habits & Personal Development
22. I will easily meditate 30 days in a row for 20 minutes at a time by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
I've gotten re-focused on this goal lately and have been on a roll of meditating daily for the last week. One thing that has helped me with this has been reading the book The Willpower Instinct, as it talks a lot about the benefits of meditation.
23. I will easily go 30 days without biting my nails by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
This goal was very easy for me to achieve once I committed myself to it. I was biting my nails for so long out of habit and once I just decided to be conscious of it and focus on changing it, it was fairly easy. I had a few times where my fingers would come up to my mouth, but I’d quickly stop myself.
24. I will easily go through Tony Robbins Personal Power II by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I completed this goal during January. It was my 4th time going through this awesome program. My mastermind group wanted to go through it together as a group, which I agreed to. I find that every time I go through programs again and again, I continue to get more out of it. This is a powerful program and it helped me with many of my goals also.
25. I will easily read at least 12 books by December 31, 2014.
Result: Read 8 books
I've read 8 books so far during 2014. I'm currently reading The Willpower Instinct – How Self-Control Works, Why It Matters, And What You Can Do To Get More Of It.
Here's a list of books that I've read so far this year:
- The Willpower Instinct – How Self-Control Works, Why It Matters, And What You Can Do To Get More Of It
- Less Doing, More Living: Make Everything In Life Easier
- Warrior Of The Light
- How to Have Your Cake and Your Skinny Jeans Too: Stop Binge Eating, Overeating and Dieting For Good Get the Naturally Thin Body You Crave From the Inside Out
- My Philosophy For Successful Living
- The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack The Code To Wealth And Live Rich For A Lifetime
- Convert: The Simple Little Formula That Sold $450 Million Worth of Products Online
- How I Created a $175,000 Per Month Consulting Business in 90 Days
26. I will easily respond to friends and family members within 24 hours for 30 days straight by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I achieved this goal in January and did a great job with it, but I feel that I need to focus on it a bit more again. Since being back in Vancouver, I've been having a lot of people wanting to hangout with me or talk to me, which has been very overwhelming. On top of it, I continue to receive hundreds of e-mails and messages everyday through my blog and Facebook which I'd like to minimize. I've found that the more successful I've become, the MORE people want to hangout with me and be around me. High quality problem, I know… My plan is to create some new systems to better communicate with others and have my support team handle as much as they can as well.
27. I will easily perform 1 act of contribution every month (volunteer, feeding families, donating to charities) by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
June was an awesome month of contribution! I stepped up my game more and focused on serving others outside of Project Life Mastery and my business. I have been making regular contributions to Kiva.org (an awesome organization), as well as funding some small individual fundraisers on GoFundMe. I've also been focused on contributing more on a daily basis, giving to the homeless in my city, as well as tipping and acknowledging the people that serve me everyday. I recently gave a bonus to my virtual assistants, people that I work with on Fiverr, my maid, my personal chef, etc… it's been very rewarding and fulfilling.
Final Lessons Learned In June
What an incredible month! I feel so humbled and grateful for my life and how it continues to get better and better.
I often find myself asking the question: Why am I so lucky? How is it that I'm so blessed to live such a remarkable life?
The answers I most often come up with are it's because of my commitment to self-growth and being of service to others.
I truly believe that power moves to those who are TRULY committed to growing and serving at the highest level.
The more that I've focused on growing and improving myself, while contributing to others, the more successful I've become. I believe that's the secret to wealth and happiness: add more value to others than anyone else will.
Your income is a direct reflection of your level of contribution. The more that you contribute, the more success you will have.
During June, growth and contribution were really big distinctions that were reinforced in me from attending Unleash The Power Within. I feel so on purpose right now and fulfilled with what I've been doing in my life.
Focusing more on FULFILLMENT was another big lesson learned. I've been blessed to have attracted an amazing girl in my life that has really brought a lot of joy to me and I've been able to create many magic moments with her. I've been focusing more on ENJOYING life and appreciating everything more.
At the end of the day, the quality of our lives are the quality of our emotions. You can have EVERYTHING, but if the emotional states you experience everyday are angry and depressed, then your life is angry and depressed.
On the other hand, if you are happy and grateful everyday, then it doesn't matter what you have – you are rich beyond measure. The quality of your life will be happy and grateful. I remind myself of this everyday.
As Joseph McClendon says, “Life is EXACTLY what you dare to make it. Fortune favours the bold. So let's boldly dare to make our lives magnificent!””
These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during June. Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for July. I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also. Thanks for reading!
