My September 2014 Monthly Goals Report

I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!

Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year.  This is my September 2014 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.

Since sharing my Monthly Goals Reports since January, I received such an amazing response from people on my blog.   People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress.  It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My Goals Breakdown

I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2014 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it.  Also, be sure to check out the original 2014 goals and resolution video blog and my previous Monthly Goal Reports to compare my progress.

Health & Fitness

1. I will easily be 160 lbs at 6% body fat and compete in the WBFF on July 26, 2014.

Result:  Goal Achieved – 151 lbs at 6% body fat and competed in WBFF on July 26, 2014!

Current Month: 157 lbs at 9% body fat

Previous Month: 154 lbs at 8% body fat

I'm happy to say that I have achieved this goal for 2014!  I competed at the WBFF (World Beauty Fitness & Fashion) on July 26, 2014 and got up on stage with my new physique!

I've since been working during the month of August and September to begin to put on some lean muscle mass, while keeping my body fat low.  Unfortunately, I've been gaining a bit more body fat than I'd like, but I'm committed to staying below 10%.  Right now I'm at 9% body fat and I'll likely be switching gears mid-October as I'm going to be doing a 10-14 day cleanse, which will result in some fat loss.

I also sprained my ankle in September, which set me back a bit on my training.  My legs, which have been a weak point for me, were neglected during that time to recover.  Good news is I am able to walk, run and workout my legs again.

I've also published 2 video blogs that share my exact weight loss diet plan and my weight loss workout plan in detail, if you're curious to know what I did to achieve this goal.

I've included some pictures below so you can see my progress over the months.

2. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2014.

Result: No progress made yet

Currently planning on doing this cleanse during October 17th to October 31st.

Finances

3. I will easily be making $30,000/month consistently by December 31, 2014.

Result: $71,622.26

Previous Month: $48,610.77

I've had the biggest month yet during September, making nearly $72,000!  Previously, I've had a month of over $60,000 this year, but I wasn't expecting things to increase so much for September.  There's been a few things that have contributed to the increase in earnings last month:

  • I launched a coaching program with my brother Andreas, bringing him in to help some of my members of Mastering Book Publishing make more money publishing Kindle e-books.  My brother went from zero to $6500 per month with Kindle publishing in only 4 months.  I'll be sharing an interview that I did with him sometime publicly on my YouTube channel.  But currently, he is only available to work with Full Disclosure members of Mastering Book Publishing.
  • I launched my new blog design, which has increased my subscribers and made more money in ALL areas of my online business.
  • I launched a new video sales letter for Mastering Book Publishing, which has increased conversions and sales of Mastering Book Publishing.
  • I have been forced to increase my coaching rates, as my time has become more limited now and my demand has increased substantially.  I'm currently on taking on and working with around 5 clients at a time now, and many of my clients have been working with me with long-term packages.

Below, I break down the different sources of my online income so that you can see where it's coming from.  I don't share specifics about particular websites due to the protection of certain creative endeavours I'm involved in.

Clickbank: $21,723.99

My Clickbank earnings include my Mastering Book Publishing program, The 24-Hour Book System, 6 other Clickbank products that I sell (which I keep private), and affiliate earnings.  My Mastering Book Publishing program has been growing every month and I’ve been taking a lot of action to making it one of the best courses out there for helping people make money online.  I’m very proud of the progress I’ve been making with it.  I also continue to make passive income from several products that I sell on Clickbank that I started 4 years ago that continue to make me money on autopilot.  And finally, a large portion of the income is also from affiliate earnings that I get from this blog and other websites that I have also.

Kindle Publishing: $7,734.09

My Kindle publishing earnings include all the royalties that were deposited into my bank account for September from all 100+ Kindle e-books that I sell on Amazon.  My earnings from Kindle has been fairly steady and consistent, without much maintenance.  I have some books that fluctuate in earnings and I've been implementing a new strategy for Kindle publishing but primarily using my Kindle books to funnel into backend businesses that I have.  I've realized I can begin making MORE money on the backend from my Kindle books than I will on the front end, which has been very appealing to me.  I've begun teaching this new strategy in my Full Disclosure members area for Mastering Book Publishing.

Coaching: $31,555.85

This is earnings from 1-on-1 coaching that I do with my clients, as well as the Project Life Mastery Mastermind Group that I offer for people that want to work with me.  While coaching isn't a passive income stream by any means, it is something that I enjoy doing and get a lot of fulfillment from.  I love working with people and seeing the success they have by applying what I teach them.  I have many long-term clients that pay me every month and I continue to help them build their businesses and make money online.

This income also includes coaching done with other coaches I've brought in under the Project Life Mastery brand.  I don't receive all of this money, as some of it is paid out to the coaches.

Other: $9,658.33

This is all a bunch of other income that wasn’t worthwhile separating into new sections, but it includes payments from a few affiliate promotions that I did during September, as well as earnings from Amazon Associates, Google Adsense, ShareASaleUdemy, and Fiverr.

Rental Income: $950

This income isn’t internet related, but I still included it since I wanted to add up my gross income for September.  I have an investment property that I rent out every month – I don’t make any passive income from it, it just covers my mortgage.

I was amazed to see such a increase in my income during September, but all the hard work I've put in is paying off.  This is the power of passive income.  I've developed systems that all run on autopilot that continue to make me consistent passive income every month.  I also continue to focus on adding value to others and contributing, but for the most part, most of my video blogs are all automated too!  It's exciting to see how things will continue to increase for me by the end of the year.

4. I will easily have saved at least $100,000 by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I achieved this goal in May, which was much earlier than I expected.  I wanted to have saved at least $100,000 of liquid cash that I could have in my company, not including from the investments that I make every month.  Every month, I focus on investing much of the money that I earn into stocks, mutual funds, saving for real estate properties, as well as back into my business.  I always believed that it's not how much you make, but how much you KEEP.  Learning how to manage money has been an important priority over the years that has allowed me to build my net worth to where it is today.

Business

5. I will easily have published at least 100 videos blogs on Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.

Result: 68 video blogs

Previous Month: 61 video blogs

During September I published 7 video blogs on ProjectLifeMastery.com, as well as 3 written articles, with the total video blogs for this year being 68.  Here they are below:

I've been producing content for Project Life Mastery at a decent pace, but still not on pace to reach 100 video blogs by the end of the year.  If I really want to reach this goal, I need to publish more every month.

6. I will easily launch my new money-making course by May 1, 2014.

Result: No progress made yet

Haven’t had a chance to focus on this too much right now.  Currently don’t want to switch gears too much from Kindle, as I’m getting a lot of momentum in that space.  I did launch a new course on The 24-Hour Book System on May 1st, but I don't count this as part of this goal, as I was originally planning to launch something outside of the Kindle publishing arena.  Will likely begin to focus on this more in a few months.

7. I will easily launch my new Kindle service by February 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I ended up achieving this goal during February and launched my Done-For-You Kindle Ready Book Packages, which sold out in one hour!  I made 10 packages available that each consisted of a professionally written Kindle book consisting of over 5,000 words in a profitable niche, a quality e-cover with stock photos, as well as a description for the book.  I was absolutely blown away by how fast it sold out, as I didn't even launch it to my entire e-mail list – only my Mastering Book Publishing members.  Since there was such a big demand for this, I decided to continue launching this as a service every 1-2 months.

8. I will easily launch my own Kindle software by December 31, 2014.

Result: In progress

I’m super excited about this project as I have a team of software developers and designers working on it.  This is my first software that I’m developing and there’s been a bit of a learning curve with it.  I’m investing a lot of time and money into this, but I know it will pay off in the long-run and help a lot of people (while solving my problems too).  Things have been moving along slowly with it.  It's still currently in beta testing mode, as I want to ensure it's working fully before launching it to the public.

9. I will easily launch my new coaching program by March 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

Launching my new coaching program was a big achievement for me during March.  I decided that I'd take on more clients this coming year and put together some coaching packages that would allow me to help people make money online.  While my rates for working with me 1-on-1 are fairly expensive as my time is limited, I decided to also put together a Group Coaching Mastermind for those that are unable to afford to work with me 1-on-1.  This has allowed me to form a mastermind group and work with people in a group setting, which so far has been excellent.  If you want to find out about my new coaching program, click here.

10. I will easily complete Autoresponder Madness and implement what I learned into my business by March 1, 2014.

Result: Delayed, in progress

This project has been delayed much longer than I expected, as I realized that I need to finish some other projects that are more urgent and are required for me to complete this course.  I'll definitely be getting around to this goal later, as it's still a high priority for me and it's actually one of my favourite online marketing courses ever.

11. I will easily launch the new design for Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

Finally achieved this goal during September of 2014!  The new blog design took months to complete.  I went through several designers and things continuously got delayed, but I'm happy with the result now.  So far the new design has received great feedback and it has increased the conversions of my business dramatically.

12. I will easily write and launch a new Kindle e-book by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

Yes!  Another goal achieved for this year already.  I wrote, launched and released my latest book called Kindle Marketing Secrets – 33 Ways To Promote Your Kindle Book And Get More Sales.  So far, I've received an awesome response from it and people have been loving it.  It's also selling really well and is something that will continue to make me passive income for years to come, as well as promote my Mastering Book Publishing course.

13. I will easily launch my own physical product on Amazon by December 31, 2014.

Result: In progress, on Module 3-4 of the Amazing Selling Machine

I've been making awesome progress towards this goal for September.  I've chosen the supplier that I'll be working with, after thoroughly testing the products that I received and going through the lab assays from the suppliers.  I'm launching my own supplement fairly soon and want to make sure it's a very high quality product before putting my name behind it.  I've been going through the Amazing Selling Machine and right now I'm completing thedesign for my product, while waiting for my supplier to manufacture my order.  The good news is, I've been working with my girlfriend with her own product as well, and she is much further ahead than I am.  It's been fun to do this with my girlfriend, as I've been pushing myself to keep up with her!

Lifestyle

14. I will easily move into the Sheraton Wall Centre penthouse on the 48th floor in downtown Vancouver by February 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I moved into the penthouse at the Sheraton Wall Centre on the 48th floor overlooking beautiful Vancouver on February 1st.  It’s a $1.7 million dollar penthouse and it’s still surreal.  Just a few years ago I was broke and struggling, living in my friends living room… and now I’m living in a penthouse!  Very awesome.  🙂  I’ve now furnished the place (which was a lot of work), and now I’m still furnishing it with smaller items.  I’ll have to do a video blog and give a tour of the place once everything is set up.

15. I will easily own and be driving a Corvette Stingray by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

This was a goal that I achieved during March.  Soon after doing my February Monthly Goals Report, I started researching the Corvette Stingray and just wanted to see what was available in Vancouver.  I soon learned that there was only a small limited supply of these cars made available in Canada, as each dealership is only given one and they recently arrived here.  Every place that I contacted no longer had it available, except for one.  I ended up buying the next day the only 2014 Corvette Stingray that was left in British Columbia.  Was it meant to be?  I think so!

Very excited to have achieved this goal.   It was much earlier than I expected, but I was able to take decisive action on it and I don't regret it one bit.  I've included a picture of me below with it. 🙂

16. I will easily spend a weekend in California by August 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I achieved this goal in June!  The plan was to originally go to Las Vegas for a weekend, but I changed it to go to San Jose, California with my sister to the Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Within event.  It was my 6th or 7th time going (I can't keep track) and it was a remarkable experience to share with my sister.  We had a blast!

17. I will easily spend 2.5 weeks in Bali, Indonesia by February 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I spent most of January in Bali, Indonesia and had a blast.  I travelled with my friend Mike and I recorded a lot of videos while there.  It’s absolutely beautiful there and I highly recommend to go if you get a chance!

18. I will easily travel to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit by February 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

After Bali, I ended up going to Los Angeles and then to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit.  It was an amazing event – over 2,000 people attended.  I was able to hangout with some friends from a mastermind group I’m apart of and meet some internet marketers that are making millions online.  It was very inspirational and now I’ve got a lot to apply to my businesses for 2014 that will take things to a whole new level.  I did a video blog on what I learned from the event here.

19. I will easily take a 1-week vacation and travel somewhere by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I achieved this goal by traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on July 30th for 2.5 weeks. My girlfriend was in Rio de Janeiro volunteering for 2 months, so I decided to go visit her and we had an amazing time together!

Social & Relationship

20. I will easily go out and socialize and have fun at least 3 times per week by December 31, 2014.

Result: Been going out 1-2 times per week

I wasn't socializing as much as I'd like during September.  Partly because I sprained my ankle and didn't leave the house for about a week.  However, no excuse!  I've been spending time with my girlfriend, but also been extremely busy working towards some of my goals in my business.  Balance will be important for me moving forward, to ensure that I'm spending more time on my social life!

21. I will easily have a fun get together and party once a month at my penthouse by December 31, 2014.

Result: Had an awesome party with friends

I put together a really fun party with friends during September at my penthouse.  It wasn't big or anything, but had a good amount of people and it was really fun to enjoy myself with many of my close friends that I don't get to see very often!

Habits & Personal Development

22. I will easily meditate 30 days in a row for 20 minutes at a time by December 31, 2014.

Result: In progress

Things have slowed down here, as I haven't been as focused as I'd like on this goal.  Need to get re-focused and motivated on this if I want to complete it!

23. I will easily go 30 days without biting my nails by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

This goal was very easy for me to achieve once I committed myself to it.  I was biting my nails for so long out of habit and once I just decided to be conscious of it and focus on changing it, it was fairly easy.  I had a few times where my fingers would come up to my mouth, but I’d quickly stop myself.

24. I will easily go through Tony Robbins Personal Power II by February 1, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I completed this goal during January.  It was my 4th time going through this awesome program.  My mastermind group wanted to go through it together as a group, which I agreed to.  I find that every time I go through programs again and again, I continue to get more out of it.  This is a powerful program and it helped me with many of my goals also.

25. I will easily read at least 12 books by December 31, 2014.

Result: Read 12 books

I've read 12 books so far during 2014.  I'm currently reading The Power Of Habit – Why We Do What We Do In Life And Business.

Here's a list of books that I've read so far this year:

I've also been listening to some audio books using Audible.  Here's some of them that I've listened to so far:

26. I will easily respond to friends and family members within 24 hours for 30 days straight by December 31, 2014.

Result: Goal Achieved!

I achieved this goal in January and did a great job with it, but I feel that I need to focus on it a bit more again.  Since being back in Vancouver, I've been having a lot of people wanting to hangout with me or talk to me, which has been very overwhelming.  On top of it, I continue to receive hundreds of e-mails and messages everyday through my blog and Facebook which I'd like to minimize.  I've found that the more successful I've become, the MORE people want to hangout with me and be around me.  High quality problem, I know… My plan is to create some new systems to better communicate with others and have my support team handle as much as they can as well.

27. I will easily perform 1 act of contribution every month (volunteer, feeding families, donating to charities) by December 31, 2014.

Result: In progress

During September, I continued sponsoring 3 children with World Vision.  I also made contributions to some other charities that I enjoy, while making contributions as much as I can to homeless people and those in need in my life.

Final Lessons Learned In September

Some of the biggest lessons learned during September are:

  • Focus on less!  I have a bad habit of focusing on more than I can handle.  This often leads to being stressed and overwhelmed.  I still haven't adapted to the new lifestyle I've created and sometimes it can be a challenge having so many people that want something from you.  I need to create more systems in my life, allow my assistants to handle things and focus on fewer projects at a time.
  • Enjoy life more!  I continuously need to remind and condition myself that fulfillment is the most important thing in life.  This means focusing on the things that really matter:  friends, family, my relationship, health, spirituality, etc…  The more I spend developing those areas, the happier that I will be.
  • The secret to living is giving!  I always remind myself that contribution is how I want to live my life.  That means putting helping and serving others as a higher priority than my own needs.  Many of the monthly goals I set for myself now are focused on reaching a certain number of people through my blog and videos, as well as helping people as much as I can with my products and services.  I always remind myself that the more I focus on helping others, the more successful I will be. Making money is a byproduct of helping others.  If I can get people AMAZING results in their life, then I know they will become raving fans and continue to follow me.
  • Be grateful.  Develop your psychology.  I always focus on this and am reminded of it.  Spraining my ankle was inconvenient, but I didn't let it affect me emotionally.  I just accept things as they occur and understand that everything happens for a reason.

These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during September.  Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for October.  I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also.  Thanks for reading!
