I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
I'm here to share 10 online business ideas I'd start if I wasn't so damn busy!
As many of you know, I've got a lot of businesses and projects on the go. I can't do it all. It would be foolish to think that I can. A lot of people try to do a million things at once, but all it's doing is diluting their focus. I would rather go deep and master one idea than attempt to pursue ten different things, half-ass.
A lot of people have amazing ideas, but they are afraid to share them because they live with a scarcity mentality. In my eyes, this reflects a lack of confidence. It doesn't matter what anyone else is doing. All that matters is that you believe in yourself.
Are you ready to learn 10 online business ideas that can make you passive income?

A lot of people think about great ideas, but then they end up forgetting about them.
Why does this happen? Because they don't capture it. I've learned this the hard way, so now when I have an idea for something, I write it down, using Evernote. This is an online app that keeps your notes organized. It allows me to build up a vault of ideas so that I can tap into them when I'm planning out my goals.
I don't pursue ideas solely for money. Of course, any online business has to be profitable. However, I would rather do something that I enjoy and that will make a contribution to the world at large.
I believe that when you focus on things that make you come alive inside, the money naturally comes. Ideas have little value unless they are executed and marketed effectively. This is something that very few people are willing to do.
Here are 10 online business ideas I'd start if I wasn't so damn busy!
1. Buy Other Peoples' Businesses or Websites
A lot of people have websites or businesses that they are looking to sell because they have no idea how to market and monetize them. If you know how to do affiliate marketing or how to monetize things, this is an amazing opportunity for you to make passive income.
These are available for purchase, relatively cheaply, on marketplaces like Flippa or GoDaddy. If you have some solid marketing skills, you can buy these businesses, build them up or flip them. I think this is a great opportunity. I would like to pursue this a lot more in the near future.
2. Create A Free Mini-Course To Promote Affiliate Products
The intention in creating something like this is to provide massive value to your audience. Before you start creating it, you first need to identify the niche and the products within that niche that you want to promote or sell. Within this course, you will be promoting different products or tools that are essential to go along with that course.
Whenever you provide something valuable, for free, and people benefit from it, all of the sudden they are more open to checking out what you have to offer. This is a great strategy that you can utilize for a wide range of different niches.
For example, let's say you are interested in creating a free mini-course on “How to Overcome A Binge Eating Disorder in 7 Days.” You provide people with different strategies, alongside video content and articles.
Over that 7-day period, you may promote or offer a few different products that could help people master other areas of their life as well. You will be an affiliate for these things that you promote. If people end up buying these products from you, you will get a commission from that.
3. Create A Free Challenge Site To Drive Traffic To Your Products
I own the domain name, 30daymorningritualchallenge. I've got a lot of great resources on morning rituals on my blog and YouTube channel. I've also created a course called, Morning Ritual Mastery.
I want to transform that website into a free challenge site where people can be actively involved. If you have your own product, which I do, then you can promote through that challenge site. Similarly, you could also be an affiliate and promote other people's products as well.
This is all about providing value to people and creating an experience for them that will legitimately help them to be able to achieve the results that they desire.
4. Develop A Binge Eating Program
Here’s one of my favorite 10 online business ideas that I wish I could start. As a result of taking part in two different fitness competitions in 2012 and 2014, I ended up developing a binge eating disorder. This was one of the most painful things that I've ever gone through in my life. I scoured the Internet for solutions. I read every book that I could in order to overcome this disorder.
I found that there wasn't a lot of quality stuff out there. If you've been through something and overcome it, there's a lot of people who could benefit from your insights. Eventually, I filmed a binge eating YouTube video that has one million views now.
I still get people who reach out to me all the time after watching my binge eating video. This proved to me that there's a big market here and a great opportunity to help people. You could interview people on YouTube about the disorder, create blog content, develop video training programs, do affiliate marketing, or sell physical products that could help people.
4. Publish A Book
I've published a lot of different books over the last few years. However, a lot of these books positioned me as the publisher instead of the author. I've written some of my own books in the past but haven't made it a priority to sell them.
As many of you know, I've created a course that teaches people how to publish books without actually writing them. You can hire writers to work for you and buy their work, which you then market and earn the royalties from. I've got a lot of ideas for books that I want to write, but it's a lot of work to do so. I've been way too busy to commit to something like this.
My strategy for writing a book in the future is to take the traditional publishing route.
I'm in a different position now. I have a bigger audience and following, which means that I can go to a publishing company and receive an advance from them. We could work together and they could give me a much greater distribution beyond my own audience.
It will take a lot of work in order to ensure that the book is amazing and that I have a great marketing strategy around it. My end goal is to get on the New York Times Best Seller List.
If a book fits within a specific niche or market that has a high demand, self-publishing is a great opportunity. It serves as a powerful marketing tool that allows you to build your list and your brand. Regardless of how much money you make from writing a book, the authority, credibility, and relationships that you build with people are what matters most.
5. Sell Nootropic Products
Nootropics are certain supplements that have cognitive benefits to them, whether that's for your memory, energy levels, or focus. In the future, I would like to sell products like this on Amazon and build my own brand around them.
I would probably position this product to online entrepreneurs that are looking for 10 online business ideas and new ways to make money. These are people that spend a lot of time in front of the computer. I think this is a big market to create a nootropic or performance-based supplement line that could help these types of people.
6. Create Time Management Planners
There are a lot of time management planners out there that already exist. However, I have my own strategies and formula for time management that are unique and that I think people would resonate with them. Planners are great because people buy them as gifts for friends or loved ones.
The planner then becomes a part of someone's life and something that they use every single day. That is powerful marketing. When your product plays a daily role in someone else's life, and then they run out of pages in their planner, they will be more inclined to buy more from you. This allows you to expand the value of a lifetime customer. You could also create an app that goes along with your planner.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for an information component on the backend, where you could provide training and more information that could further help people. I would probably start by selling these planners on Amazon, Shopify, and my own website and build a brand around them.
The reason why I like this product idea is that there is a massive leverage component attached to it. A huge mistake that a lot of people make is that they try to market and build their product themselves, but they fail to take advantage of leverage.
If you have a product like a planner, this presents a great opportunity to seek out a network of other influencers who have a big following that you can give your product to, for free. This allows them to promote your product to their audience. You could even get people to sponsor your product. Now you are leveraging someone else's credibility. That is one of my favorite ways to market.
7. Develop A Relationship Program
In the next few years, my girlfriend Tatiana and I would like to create a relationship training program together. We want to share the practices and principles that we live by that makes our relationship great. I've spent a lot of time in the relationship niche because I used to be involved in it.
Although it's a big market, I've noticed that the tantra niche, in particular, is really lacking with regards to teaching people how they can integrate tantric practices into their relationships.
I know some of the big tantra teachers who are out there, but I find that a lot of them aren't that great at marketing themselves. People get turned off by their messages because they are too spiritual and airy fairy in their communication of it.
A lot of people don't realize that, when you have great ideas like these, you don't necessarily have to take action on your own. You can partner with an expert who serves as the face of the product, and you can be the one that markets it.
8. Coach & Consult
In today's fast-paced technological world, what's lacking is the one-on-one personal connection that coaching and consulting can provide for people. Coaching and consulting are great ways to add value to people's lives while making money at the same time.
I love coaching, so much so that I built my career around it. However, my time is so much more limited now and my services are so much more expensive, that I haven't been able to do this nearly as much as I would like to.
If you have specific skills that people need help with, there will always be someone who is willing to pay you for that knowledge. This is why it's imperative that you become a master at one or two skills in your life. This is how you will be able to help people achieve massive results.
In the future, I would like to position myself as a coach in certain areas of life or niches that I also have a passion for. Right now my rates are very expensive, so my work is more targeted towards people with businesses. Those are the people who are willing to spend a larger amount of money. It's harder to charge more for relationship or confidence coaching versus marketing consulting.
9. Develop Software
This requires a lot more experience and resources to create. However, whenever there are growing trends in the online world, people are always willing to pay money to save them time so that they can automate their businesses and lives.
There are two ways that you can save time. You can either hire someone or buy a software program that can run on autopilot and do the work for you. For example, there are a lot of Amazon sellers who are looking for ways to build their businesses, easier and faster.
If you can create a software that makes life easier for these sellers, now you have a huge market of people who will buy your product and use it.
10. Offer Done-For-You-Services
People will pay you more money for anything that can save them time and accelerate the process of success. I've started doing this in my business. For example, I have a service that I've trained my team to do where we will set up someone's online sales funnel or build a website for them, as a bonus for signing up for my Affiliate Marketing Mastery course.
These 10 online business ideas are aligned with my personal interests.
If any of you want to take my ideas and run with them, go for it! I'm not intimidated by that because I just want people to excel. I have an unwavering belief in my ability to offer my unique gifts and market them in a way that creates an epic customer experience.
What are your ideas that can help you build your online business? Anybody can give you an idea. However, if you can come up with your own unique and creative ideas that are based on your passions, that is what will make you truly successful. In the words of Bruce Lee, “Knowledge is not enough. We must apply.”
I encourage you to tap into your creative side and be an idea-generating machine so that one day you can pursue them. In life, you can either be a leader or a follower. Which one are you?
How to Find Your Own Online Business Ideas
Now that I’ve given you things that I would love to create if I weren’t doing so much, I want you to start thinking about what you are really passionate about, serving as new business project ideas.
If you loved one of the ideas above, then please tell me about your progress and share how you are succeeding in the approach. If it’s not something you're passionate about, then there are other ways you can make money online and work with new, online business ideas.
Here’s a great process to help you to find your own ideas and to begin moving toward your goals in a different way.
Step 1: Create a Vision Board
I love vision boards. I use them for everything. When I started Project Life Mastery, I started with a vision board. I still use it today. It works to help you visualize and manifest the great ideas that you already have.
Don’t think you have any great ideas? Don’t focus on online business ideas to start your business. Instead, look at the things you want in life, serving as project life ideas. Identify how you want to live. Look at what you are passionate about. You will find that there are several ways you can begin to build your own online business ideas – just based on what you love.
Step 2: What Else Is Out There?
If you have online business ideas, you may find that others have developed something similar. This is not to discourage you. It’s to help you to find what fits for you.
I am a strong believer in finding your niche first. That means you need to be aware of what others are doing and how it moves you to a different level of starting something online. When you study your competitors and find your niche, you are moving into a win-win formula that allows you to accelerate your ideas into action.
Step 3: Draw Your Plan
Once you have a complete scope of your online business ideas, start to plan the different ways you can bring it into fruition. You may need things like a website, product plans or an online space to sell. You may also need a business structure that is designed to help you with your business and grow to the next steps.
While you are drawing out your plan for your business project ideas, consider looking, in-depth at what you need to do. Many will refer to a formal business plan to help with the operations, expenses and with the vision you have decided to create. You can also casually layout what you need. You also want to look at how you will market and find certain strategies to help you get to the next level.
Step 4: Set Goals and Action Items
At this point, it’s time to take your online business ideas and make them happen. Set goals you want to reach from your plan. Divide it into quarterly, monthly and daily actions. Make sure you have practical milestones, such as when your idea will make $1 and when it will make $100.
Your action items should include daily plans to get you to your goals. Include marketing as well as certain setup items with your online business ideas that turn your vision into a reality. This will accelerate the results and the process you have for your online endeavors.
Step 5: Think Outside the Box
It’s not the online business ideas that are sometimes difficult. It can also be the goals that you miss or struggles you have while you are on the path to fulfilling your dreams. If you hit roadblocks along the way, then think outside of the box. Every problem has a solution. Every approach you take has something new that you can do to reach your goals.
When you continue to identify what is next and find solutions, then you will easily begin to see results. You will notice that out of the box thinking is a simple formula to help you get the results you want while assisting you in taking steps instead of running into blockades.
Taking Your Online Business Ideas to the Next Level
What’s next with your online business ideas? Once they are starting to build with traffic, recognition and even sales, then you have several possibilities to go to the next level with your project life ideas. It depends on what you want to do and how you want to accelerate your own business.
One of the great parts of being online is that you have tons of opportunities and possibilities to leverage what you create to different options. If you don’t want to take the online business ideas and run with them for the next 10 years, then there are different ways to turn the business into something else.
There are now sites that allow you to sell your site to them. You will need a domain and hosting with your website. You will also need some traction to show that the site has value. The valuation will be determined by you as well as those looking at the products or services. If there is income, you can sell the online business ideas for even more.
It is also possible to build not only central income from online business ideas but also to work with secondary or passive income. You can work with autopilot business ideas to easily change the amount you make. Ads, affiliate programs and other online opportunities are continuously available to those who are looking at expanding the amount of money they make. I’ve always found this as a useful way to build my online presence.
If you want to continue marketing, then I highly recommend looking at ways to leverage more income from different places. For example, becoming an online influencer with social media may assist. There are also online portals for blogs that may pay a commission for the writing you offer. You’ll find several, lucrative opportunities waiting for you to compliment the marketing you are doing with your online business ideas. These autopilot business ideas help you to leverage even more income without extra work.
There are several ways you can continue to expand and build. If you look at the possibilities for expansion and endless opportunities, then they will quickly become a part of the online business ideas you create. You will even find that one idea may turn into several more, creating a “wheel of fortune” and abundance for you.
With these online business ideas, you can easily move into a 6 or 7 figure income. More important, you can build something you are passionate about. I know that the ideas I offered in this blog were a certain way to help me leverage more of my interests. I hope they do the same for you and stimulate new ideas that you know you want to create.
