I decided to release an exclusive interview that I did with Matt Clark, the founder of the Amazing Selling Machine. The Amazing Selling Machine is a course that I recently joined that teaches people how to make money selling physical products on Amazon. The program consists of online classes, as well as a live event that is going to be hosted in Las Vegas this summer.
I met Matt Clark over a year ago through a mastermind group that I'm apart of, which consists of many successful entrepreneurs. After knowing Matt's history with selling millions of dollars worth of products on Amazon, I asked to interview him for my Mastering Book Publishing program, as I figured he'd have a lot to offer.
Wow, was I blown away by his knowledge and experience on the subject! I got to pick his brain about how Amazon works, how to better sell Kindle e-books, as well as how to make money selling physical products on Amazon.
This is an interview that I've kept private in my Mastering Book Publishing Full Disclosure members area, until now… I decided that I'd release it, as I think many others could benefit from it and would be interested in joining me in the Amazing Selling Machine (which is only available for a few more days).

Why I Decided To Join The Amazing Selling Machine
I had an opportunity to join the Amazing Selling Machine last year, but passed up on it because I had some other commitments that I was focused on. I ended up having one of my coaching clients sign-up for it and ended up hearing some amazing feedback from her on the program. She went down to Texas for their live event and when she returned, sent me an e-mail that said:
I blurred out her name for privacy reasons. She sent me many other e-mails as well. When she saw that I mailed out to my followers about it recently, she sent me another e-mail telling me about how this program has now replaced her teacher's salary within a 3 month launch of her own product. Amazing!
I regretted not doing it the first time and it was always on the back of my mind to join and create my own product on Amazon. When I went to Bali, I had 3 friends there that are also apart of my mastermind group that are crushing it on Amazon. One friend is selling Yoga mats, another Yoga towels, and another just recently launched his own high quality Probiotics. These guys were making tens of thousands per month by having ONE product selling on Amazon, which blew me away.
I also have another friend (who spoke at the last Amazing Selling Machine live event) is making $50,000 per month selling his own testosterone booster. On top of that, I've been super impressed with what Matt Clark and Jason Katzenback are doing and had a chance to learn a bit more from them about it.
Everything was directing me to do this. And now that I've recently just signed up, I can say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
The reason why I'm so excited about the opportunity that selling physical products on Amazon brings, is simply because it's so similar to Kindle Publishing. I already know how Amazon works. I know how to rank products on the Amazon search engine, get reviews, and already have experience marketing.
It would be another great way for me to diversify my income stream, with something that is related to what I'm already doing. Not only that, but I know that I can create my own Kindle e-books that could sell and promote my own products on Amazon too!
Here's My Plan…
I've been thinking over the last few months about the type of product that I'd sell in anticipation for the launch of the Amazing Selling Machine. I thought about creating and selling my own supplement, for the following reasons:
- A supplement would be a product that I could personally use in my own life on a day-to-day basis and by creating one, I'd at least be able to benefit from it everyday and could confidently endorse it to others.
- By creating and selling my own supplement, I could create videos about it and teach the benefits of it on my YouTube channel and blog. I could use my blog as a channel to funnel into what I'm doing and launch it successfully.
- With a supplement, the margins are fairly high. If I can find ways to manufacture it inexpensively and sell it at the right margin, it can be extremely profitable.
- Supplements are items that people don't just buy one time. If the product is good, people will re-order and buy from you again and again. This means a new recurring income stream.
- There's a fairly high barrier of entry with Amazon products. Not anyone can come in and compete with you, as it's a bit of a challenging process. With Kindle Publishing, because it's almost TOO EASY, anyone can come in and compete with you with another Kindle book literally overnight (unless your book is an authority, which I try to teach).
Now, the biggest hurdle for me in doing this has been time.
But, I've always believed that “not having the time” is just an excuse. You always make the time for whatever you're committed to. So, I'm going to commit fully to this and MAKE THE TIME for it. I've decided that I'm going to add creating and launching my own physical product on Amazon to be one of my goals for 2014. I'm going to be updating my 2014 goals and resolutions to include this goal.
I know it's not going to happen overnight. It will be a several month process for me, especially since I have some other projects that I'm focused on this year. But I'm okay with that, because I don't believe in methods of trying to “get rich quick”. I believe in doing things the RIGHT WAY and building a sustainable business model for the long-term.
My eventual goal with the Amazing Selling Machine is to have my own line of supplements and products that I'm passionate about that can help others. This isn't just a “make money opportunity” for me – no, it's much larger than that. This is going to align with my mission of helping others and making a difference.

This is an online course that also includes a live event, an active community and a whole whop of other stuff. Isn't cheap and can is fairly expensive, but that's typical of any seminar or high quality course that I've invested in. It also isn't a “get rich quick” method either, it's something that requires hard work and effort, just like anything else. But I believe if you're committed enough to something, you can make it work and will be successful at it.
