This is a Udemy course, but because of the similar processes in numbers, we decided to take a closer look at what this course offers.
This course is short, to the point and provides direct insight into how to get 1 million views. The course stays focused on this one goal and lets you know how to run a YouTube channel for that focused viewpoint.
While you may achieve this one goal by taking this course, I found that there were not specific tactics that looked at the full scope of YouTube.
For instance, it’s not just about views, it’s about subscribers, monetization and marketing tactics that are unique to your channel. These all add up in the response you get but aren’t necessarily in this course.
Tube Your Own Horn is what I call a “step further” course. It doesn’t just focus on the one part of marketing but is interested in expansion to different alternatives you need with creating your fan base.
3. Video Marketing Made (Ridiculously) Easy
Another Udemy course offered by marketing pro, Michael Clarke, this particular approach brags about giving you the “know how” to every step of developing your YouTube Channel.
What I like about this course is that it is more expansive than others. It focuses on how you will produce your content and what you should decide to work on. It also explains how to publish your videos so you have the quality you need.
Another part of this course I like is that it does focus on promoting your videos. It offers guidelines that Michael Clarke has used, specifically to reach his own level of success.
While this offers some insight, it is also focused on the basic setup that you need and basic promotions that most YouTubers will know. Instead of going into deeper strategies, like Dan Lok, there is a focus on the first steps to reach success.
4. YouTube Marketing Bootcamp
Like the Video Marketing Made (Ridiculously) Easy, this course focuses on the full range of YouTube qualifications you need to get results.
The focus on production, finding content and using YouTube platforms is mentioned in this course. There are also training initiatives to assist with the watch time and number of subscribers.
The course focuses on more monetization than others, giving you information on the basic process of how to make money with video. It also looks at SEO, optimization, KPIs, outbound strategies and social media.
While this course offers more than many others, there are limitations with how deeply the course goes into the process. If you are new to marketing and don’t use measurements and other basic reference points, then this can help you to grasp how to use video marketing.
If you want a different formula and strategy that has proven results, then you may want to dig deeper and into alternative formulas.
5. Tube Your Own Horn Review
