I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year. This is my March 2014 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.
Since sharing my Monthly Goals Reports since January, I received such an amazing response from people on my blog. People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress. It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My Goals Breakdown
I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2014 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it. Also, be sure to check out the original 2014 goals and resolution video blog and my previous Monthly Goal Reports to compare my progress.
Health & Fitness
1. I will easily be 160 lbs at 6% body fat and compete in the WBFF on July 26, 2014.
Result: 150 lbs at 7% body fat
Previous Month: 152 lbs at 8% body fat
I'm happy to say that I made a bigger leap in my progress during March towards getting down to 6% body fat. My goal has been to continue leaning out and getting my abs more defined for my fitness competition in July. I likely won't be able to put on any muscle before the competition as I won't have much time, but my plan is to get as lean as possible and then start putting on muscle after the competition while staying lean.
I did have a set back in March with my diet. I ended up having a few days where I ate unhealthy while going out with friends. As a result of consuming more carbs and calories, my weight ballooned up to around 153 lbs, as it was holding more water. After an event like that, it often takes about a few days to a week of consistency to bring my weight back down. I'm okay with these set backs here and there as I understand that they do happen. Right now I've got some good momentum going and will continue on with what I'm doing for the next 3-4 months.
My diet has currently been around 2000 calories per day. I track every meal and usually eat the same meals everyday. I also have been lifting weights 6 days a week, while doing interval cardio training about 3-4 times per week. I'll be sure to do a video blog at some point with more on what I've been doing.
I've included some pictures below so you can see and compare my progress.
2. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
I haven’t focused on this goal yet and plan on doing the cleanse sometime during the end of the year.
Finances
3. I will easily be making $30,000/month consistently by December 31, 2014.
Result: $51,605.66
Previous Month: $42,469.01
I just destroyed my previous record of monthly earnings and earned $51,605.66 during March through all of my online income streams. It's pretty remarkable how every month it's been going up and up and I'm still personally in disbelief about the progress I've been making so rapidly. One of the biggest reasons for the big increase was the launch of my new coaching program, which ended up earning me some significant money. I've had a lot of people from all over the world want to work with me and I decided to take on many more clients this year. Coaching is definitely not a passive income stream by any means, but it's rewarding and enjoyable. I love working with people on a 1-on-1 basis and I've found it to be the easiest way to help people get faster results than anything else out there.
Below, I break down the different sources of my online income so that you can see where it's coming from. I don't share specifics about particular websites due to the protection of certain creative endeavours I'm involved in.
Clickbank: $22,292.88
My Clickbank earnings include Mastering Book Publishing course, 6 other Clickbank products that I sell (which I keep private) and affiliate earnings. My Mastering Book Publishing course has been growing every month and I’ve been taking a lot of action to making it one of the best courses out there for helping people make money online. I’m very proud of the progress I’ve been making with it. I also continue to make passive income from several products that I sell on Clickbank that I started 3-4 years ago that continue to make me money on autopilot. And finally, a large portion of the income is also from affiliate earnings that I get from this blog and other websites that I have also.
During February of 2014, I made $17,550.17 on Clickbank. So I saw a huge increase during March, primarily in sales for my Kindle Money Mastery course as I've been working on ways to grow it and get it out there to help more people.
Kindle Publishing: $8,223.12
My Kindle publishing earnings include all the royalties that were deposited into my bank account for March from all 100+ Kindle e-books that I sell on Amazon. During January, I made $8,502.56 from Kindle, so my income dropped a bit. I'm not too worried about this, as earnings always tend to fluctuate and go up and down. I currently have so many books published and I'm always tweaking things and optimizing things with my books. I also have been running a lot of free promotions on my books the last few months to boost the rankings, and so I've gone a few weeks without sales because of this. Overall, this will help my book sales long-term.
ShareASale: $118.32
This is more affiliate commissions that I earned from promoting some products on my blog. Last month I made $70.27, so my income here decreased.
Commission Junction: $82.21
This is more affiliate commissions that I earned from my blog. Last month I made $105.20 from Commission Junction.
Coaching: $15,102.47
During March, I ended up taking on some more coaching clients with the launch of my new coaching program and was able to make $15,102.47, which is a lot more than what I made during any other month. During March, I made $8220.41 from coaching after I got back from Bali and decided to get back into coaching a few clients that I took a break from during January. I also think that since I've been being more transparent and sharing my goals, more people have been inspired and been wanting to work with me, which has been great.
Other: $4,836.66
This is all a bunch of other income that wasn’t worthwhile separating into new sections, but it includes payments from a few affiliate promotions that I did, as well as earnings from Udemy and Fiverr.
Rental Income: $950
This income isn’t internet related, but I still included it since I wanted to add up my gross income for February. I have an investment property that I rent out every month – I don’t make any passive income from it, it just covers my mortgage.
Overall, this has been the best financial month of my life! The crazy thing is, my goal is $30,000 per month consistently and I definitely exceeded that. Now I just want to focus on sustaining this income of over $30,000 per month for the entire year. However, with the launch of new projects that I'm focusing on this year, I could see my income consistently hit over $50,000 a month, which is extremely exciting!
4. I will easily have saved at least $100,000 by December 31, 2014.’
Result: Over $60,000
I was able to save over $20,000 during March that is directly in my company savings account. This doesn’t include a investments that I made during March, I’m only tracking money that I’m putting into my savings and keeping away. I’m happy I was able to save so much in March, considering I've also spent a lot of money to buy a new car and a few other high ticket items in my life. I will easily achieve this goal by December 31st at the pace I'm moving at!
Business
5. I will easily have published at least 100 videos blogs on Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: 25 video blogs
Previous Month: 17 video blogs
During March I published 8 video blogs on ProjectLifeMastery.com, with the total for this year being 25. Here they are below:
- Exactly How I Make Over $20,000 Per Month Online – Affiliate Marketing (Part 4)
- Exactly How I Make Over $20,000 Per Month Online – Blogging (Part 3)
- Exactly How I Make Over $20,000 Per Month Online – Kindle Publishing (Part 2)
- Exactly How I Make Over $20,000 Per Month Online
- How To Get Anyone To Like You By Offering Value Instead Of Taking Value
- My February 2014 Monthly Goals Report
- Mastermind Session On Internet Marketing, Success Mindset, Fitness And Life Balance
- 5 Conversion Tips That I Learned From Clay Collins Of LeadPages
I've been consistently doing about 8 video blogs per month right now, which I'm happy with. I know during summer time I'll probably crank it up for a month or two, once I get some big projects out of the way. I started doing a video blog series on how I make money online, which has been fun and very time-consuming. I really put a lot into these video blogs and want to make sure they're really high quality.
6. I will easily launch my new money-making course by May 1, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t had a chance to focus on this too much right now. Currently don’t want to switch gears too much from Kindle, as I’m getting a lot of momentum in that space. Will likely begin to focus on this more in a few months.
7. I will easily launch my new Kindle service by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I ended up achieving this goal during February and launched my Done-For-You Kindle Ready Book Packages, which sold out in one hour! I made 10 packages available that each consisted of a professionally written Kindle book consisting of over 5,000 words in a profitable niche, a quality e-cover with stock photos, as well as a description for the book. These sold for $247 each. I was absolutely blown away by how fast it sold out, as I didn't even launch it to my entire e-mail list – only my customers. Since there's such a demand for this, I'm planning on launching this again sometime in the next month or two, but will likely charge more for it as it required more of my time than I would have liked.
8. I will easily launch my own Kindle software by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
I’m super excited about this project as I have a team of software developers and designers working on it. This is my first software that I’m developing and there’s been a bit of a learning curve with it. I’m investing a lot of time and money into this, but I know it will pay off in the long-run and help a lot of people (while solving my problems too). Things couldn’t be moving along better here – hoping to get this launched in the coming months.
9. I will easily launch my new coaching program by March 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
Launching my new coaching program was a big achievement for me during March. I decided that I'd take on more clients this coming year and put together some coaching packages that would allow me to help people make money online. While my rates for working with me 1-on-1 are fairly expensive as my time is limited, I decided to also put together a Group Coaching Mastermind for those that are unable to afford to work with me 1-on-1. This has allowed me to form a mastermind group and work with people in a group setting, which so far has been excellent. If you want to find out about my new coaching program, click here.
10. I will easily complete Autoresponder Madness and implement what I learned into my business by March 1, 2014.
Result: Delayed, in progress
This project has been delayed much longer than I expected, as I realized that I need to finish some other projects that are more urgent and are required for me to complete this course. I'll definitely be getting around to this goal later, as it's still a high priority for me and it's actually one of my favourite online marketing courses ever.
11. I will easily launch the new design for Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
The new design for PLM is still in progress and coming along nicely. I'm just finishing the final details on it and wanting to make sure everything is the way that I want it before I launch it. I'm hoping to launch this sometime in the next month or two.
12. I will easily write and launch a new Kindle e-book by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
Yes! Another goal achieved for this year already. I wrote, launched and released my latest book called Kindle Marketing Secrets – 33 Ways To Promote Your Kindle Book And Get More Sales. So far, I've received an awesome response from it and people have been loving it. It's also selling really well and is something that will continue to make me passive income for years to come, as well as promote my Mastering Book Publishing course.
Lifestyle
13. I will easily move into the Sheraton Wall Centre penthouse on the 48th floor in downtown Vancouver by February 1, 2014.
I moved into the penthouse at the Sheraton Wall Centre on the 48th floor overlooking beautiful Vancouver on February 1st. It’s a $1.7 million dollar penthouse and it’s still surreal. Just a few years ago I was broke and struggling, living in my friends living room… and now I’m living in a penthouse! Very awesome. 🙂 I’ve now furnished the place (which was a lot of work), and now I’m still furnishing it with smaller items. I’ll have to do a video blog and give a tour of the place once everything is set up.
14. I will easily own and be driving a Corvette ZR1 by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
This was by far the biggest goal that I achieved during March. Soon after doing my February Monthly Goals Report, I started researching the Corvette Stingray and just wanted to see what was available in Vancouver. I soon learned that there was only a small limited supply of these cars made available in Canada, as each dealership is only given one and they recently arrived here. Every place that I contacted no longer had it available, except for one. I ended up buying the next day the only 2014 Corvette Stingray that was left in British Columbia. Was it meant to be? I think so!
Very excited to have achieved this goal. It was much earlier than I expected, but I was able to take decisive action on it and I don't regret it one bit. I've included a picture of me below with it. 🙂
15. I will easily spend a weekend in Las Vegas by August 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet.
Haven’t focused on this yet.
16. I will easily spend 2.5 weeks in Bali, Indonesia by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I spent most of January in Bali, Indonesia and had a blast. I travelled with my friend Mike and I recorded a lot of videos while there. It’s absolutely beautiful there and I highly recommend to go if you get a chance!
17. I will easily travel to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
After Bali, I ended up going to Los Angeles and then to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit. It was an amazing event – over 2,000 people attended. I was able to hangout with some friends from a mastermind group I’m apart of and meet some internet marketers that are making millions online. It was very inspirational and now I’ve got a lot to apply to my businesses for 2014 that will take things to a whole new level. I did a video blog on what I learned from the event here.
18. I will easily take a 1-week vacation and travel somewhere by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t been thinking too much about another vacation right now, as I just want to get back into a routine in Vancouver. Will be a few months before I look to travel again.
Social & Relationship
19. I will easily go out and socialize and have fun at least 3 times per week by December 31, 2014.
Result: Been going out 2-3 times per week
I've been having an awesome balance right now in my life. Now that the weather is slowly starting to get better in Vancouver, I've been enjoying my weekends more. Been going out with friends, meeting new people, and having some great get-togethers. I plan on maintaining this balance all throughout summer and perhaps even spend more of summer having fun.
20. I will easily have a fun get together and party once a month at my penthouse by December 31, 2014.
Result: Been having a get together/party once a month
During March, I had a group of friends over to watch the UFC fight. Was fun and it's always great to have people over.
Habits & Personal Development
21. I will easily meditate 30 days in a row for 20 minutes at a time by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
I've started meditating more and ended up going 30 days of doing meditation for at least 5 minutes. Right now, one of the biggest challenges I've been having with meditation is that I haven't been motivated to do it enough, simply because I don't have a big enough WHY for it. In order for me to successfully achieve this goal, I really need to think more about WHY I actually want to do this and the benefits it will bring to my life.
22. I will easily go 30 days without biting my nails by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
This goal was very easy for me to achieve once I committed myself to it. I was biting my nails for so long out of habit and once I just decided to be conscious of it and focus on changing it, it was fairly easy. I had a few times where my fingers would come up to my mouth, but I’d quickly stop myself.
23. I will easily go through Tony Robbins Personal Power II by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I just finished completing this program for the 3rd or 4th time now. My mastermind group wanted to go through it together as a group, which I agreed to. I find that every time I go through programs again and again, I continue to get more out of it. This is a powerful program and it helped me with many of my goals also.
24. I will easily read at least 12 books by December 31, 2014.
Result: Read 3 books
During March, I read two books. I read the book My Philosophy For Successful Living by Jim Rohn and a book called How I Built A $175,000 Per Month Consulting Business In 90 Days by Frank Kern. Both great books and enjoyable reads. I decided to take a break from reading about taxes and instead read topics that I find more enjoyable to get myself back into the habit of reading again.
25. I will easily respond to friends and family members within 24 hours for 30 days straight by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I achieved this goal in January and did a great job with it, but I feel that I need to focus on it a bit more again. Since being back in Vancouver, I've been having a lot of people wanting to hangout with me or talk to me, which has been very overwhelming. On top of it, I continue to receive hundreds of e-mails and messages everyday through my blog and Facebook which I'd like to minimize. I've found that the more successful I've become, the MORE people want to hangout with me and be around me. High quality problem, I know… My plan is to create some new systems to better communicate with others and have my support team handle as much as they can as well.
26. I will easily perform 1 act of contribution every month (volunteer, feeding families, donating to charities) by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
During March, one of the best things that I did was interacted with homeless people in my area and gave money to those in need. It was both fun and very fulfilling to be able to spend time talking to them and reward the ones that are actually out there trying to improve themselves and finding ways to add value to society.
Final Lessons Learned In March
What can I say… I'm very pleased and happy about March! I not only had a record-breaking month financially, but also have been making some great progress in all of the other areas of my life. Tony Robbins says that progress equals happiness, and it's definitely true. I'm not only excited about the specific results I've been achieving, but more so who I'm becoming in the process. I've been becoming a more disciplined, confident and high value human being. I'm becoming the person that I've always wanted to be. It's fantastic!
One of the biggest challenges I've been facing has been rushing to do too much at once. I have quite a few goals and projects on the go and they almost always inevitably get delayed. There's always things that come up and put a wrench in your plans. I have so many things that I expected to have finished by now, but things have come up that have prevented things from being complete. Part of it is that I'm always taking on a bit more than what I can handle right now and I need to look into leveraging myself even more. I need to look into perhaps getting a few team members on board that can help me scale up at the pace that I want.
One awesome way I found to leverage myself was launching my Mastermind Group Coaching, which has given me the ability to work with a number of people in a group setting. This has been beneficial to me, as I'm able to take on more clients without spending too much more time. It's much cheaper for people to work with me this way as well, rather than hiring me for my 1-on-1 time.
With regards to fitness, I learned the importance of tracking every meal exactly. At times I was just roughly estimating the calories of my foods, instead of taking out the measuring cups and being exact. Whenever you're exact, it's a huge eye opener. Once I made this shift, I was able to break past a plateau and start making progress again with losing fat. I'm almost where I want to be now, which is great, but the challenges have been more mental than physical. I've been having to make some more sacrifices with my eating and raise my standards in this area, which wasn't easy, but will be worth it. I just overall learned that I need to play at a higher level here and continuously evolve with my eating and training if I want to get to where I want to be. It's not supposed to be easy – if it was, everyone would have an incredible body. I've learned to accept this and take action regardless.
These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during March. Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for March. I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also. Thanks for reading!
