In today's video, I visit my friend Matt Astifan at a co-working space called SpaceKraft. Matt has an inspiring story of going from $30,000 in credit card debt to making over $30,000 per month as a Social Media Director. He offered to give us a tour of the co-working space that he works at, as well as agreed to sit down for an interview sharing how anyone can make money as a Social Media Director.
I’ve known Matt for eight or nine years now and seen his journey to success online. We met back when we were both getting started building our online businesses. He’s had a lot of successes and failures along the way, so we’re going to hear about his experiences.

Matt actually runs the #1 internet marketing meet up group in the entire world — it has over 6,000 members. Aspiring internet marketers get together and connect while listening to experience speakers at his events. I’ve actually personally spoken at his event twice myself.
Matt hosts all of his meet ups at Spacekraft, so that’s another great reason to use a co-work space. He gives us a tour of the space, including his prime real estate and the broadcast room where does all of his online trainings.
He also shares with us the importance of using a co-working space now that he has a family at home. Sometimes it’s easy to procrastinate at home; especially when there’s a baby around to play with! It’s been super productive for Matt to move into Spacekraft and has led to his business skyrocketing. He’s also networked and hired other people who are working in the space with him, almost setting up his own personal office.
A lot of online businesses are now working out of co-work spaces. There are tech startups, but there are also business consultants and coaches who want to get work done. The board rooms all have the capability to be video conference calls as well, so people rent out just those spaces for their businesses.
