I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year. This is my April 2015 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.
Since I started sharing my Monthly Goals Reports last year, I received such an amazing response from people on my blog. People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress. It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My 2015 Goals Breakdown
I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2015 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it. Also, be sure to check out the original 2015 goals and resolution video blog and my previous Monthly Goal Reports to compare my progress.
Health & Fitness
1. I will easily gain 13 lbs (aiming for 7-8 lbs being muscle) and weigh 165 lbs by July 31, 2015.
Result: Gained 2 lbs, around 163 lbs.
Previous Month: 161 lbs
My weight has been slowly climbing, putting on more and more muscle every month. It's still been a bit of a challenge being at a higher body fat %, but I know it's part of the process and I can always burn it off down the road.
I've also noticed I've been much more sore, fatigued and requiring a bit more sleep. This is a sign that my body is growing, but also that my body has to use more energy to digest food and recover more. Again, all part of the process, but I need to ensure that I'm consuming healthy foods that are also giving me energy!
2. I will easily lose 5 lbs of fat and be 160 lbs, athletic and ripped by December 31, 2015.
Result: No progress yet
I'll be starting this goal later in the year, after I finish my “bulk” (see goal above).
Here's two 2 video blogs that share my exact weight loss diet plan and my weight loss workout plan in detail, if you're curious to know my plan for fat loss.
3. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2015.
Result: No progress yet
Every year I do a 7-10 day cleanse to give my body a break. I enjoy The Total Wellness Cleanse, as I've done it a few times, but any raw food/juicing cleanse really nourishes my body and does wonders for it. I will be doing this later in the year.
4. I will easily do yoga 4 times per month by December 31, 2015.
Result: 4 times
In April, I did yoga 4 times. I went to a hot yoga class on 3 occasions, but also have been doing some yoga at home which has been a bit more convenient. I love the benefits I get from this and would like to continue on with this goal.
Financial
5. I will easily make at least $1,000,000 ($84,000 per month) by December 31, 2015.
Result: $65,671.60
Last Month: $60,008.67
I saw an increase in earnings for the month of April. I've been making around $70,000 per month on average for the last 6 months – some up, some down, but overall my average is looking good.
A few things that have happened with my income recently:
1. I'm not doing much 1-on-1 coaching right now, due to putting more of my time and focus into some other projects that will pay off more down the road. In the past, I was making a lot more from coaching, which is active-income. I know I can make a lot more if I choose from coaching, but I'd rather sacrifice the short-term earnings for the long-term passive income projects that I'm releasing.
2. I own a company with my brother that has been generating good cashflow. However, we haven't taken out any money from the company yet and paid ourselves – we've just left it there and been re-investing it in bigger projects. I'm not including this income in my monthly goal reports.
3. I currently own over $400,000 worth of stocks, most of which pay a monthly or quarterly dividend. This is another stream of “passive income” that I'm not including on my reports currently, as those dividend payouts just get re-invested into buying more stocks currently. However, this is income that I do report on my tax returns.
4. About 80% of my income is in US dollar. I live in Canada and right now the exchange rate to USD is pretty significant. For any US dollars that I exchange to Canadian dollars, I earn an extra 20%. However, I'm not including my exchange rate gains or income in these reports either – that's something I take care of at the end of the year on my tax return.
This income is comprised of a number of businesses and income streams that I have, such as:
- Kindle Publishing
- Including CreateSpace & Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX)
- Information Products & Courses
- Mastering Book Publishing, The 24-Hour Book System, Full Disclosure, etc…
- Affiliate Marketing
- Promoting other courses, products & services
- Coaching, Consulting & Events
- Amazon Physical Products
- Miscellaneous Income Streams
- Google Adsense, Fiverr, Udemy, etc…
- Real Estate Investments

6. I will easily invest at least $10,000 per month by December 31, 2015.
Result: Invested over $40,000
Last Month: Invested over $10,000
After reading Tony Robbins' book, Money: Master The Game, I've been super motivated to invest more of my money. I'm not a fan of having money sit around and do nothing, so I believe learning how to properly manage and invest your money is an important skill. In April I invested over $40,000 in my trading account. My plan is to continue making monthly investments and to grow my net worth massively.
I first started investing since I was 18 years old – just contributing $100/month to a mutual fund, as I learned about the power of compounding from a book called The Wealthy Barber. Today, I'm more focused on investing in stocks and index funds, as well as trying to diversify my portfolio as much as possible.
I plan on doing a video blog sharing my investing strategy and what I do with my money.
Business
7. I will easily launch my own physical product on Amazon using the Amazing Selling Machine by February 28, 2015.
Result: $3000 in April, haven't launched to blog yet
My Amazon product continues to grow in sales, with very minimal effort involved. Right now I'm working on my 2nd physical product, which is another supplement, which I'm hoping to be released soon.
I plan on launching my supplement more to my blog soon – I have some videos recorded, but haven't had time to launch it yet.

Result: Goal Achieved!
I successfully launched the Kindle Virtual Assistant Training Program in March 2015!
It was a great success and people have been loving it so far. It is only available to members of Mastering Book Publishing.
One of the best things about it was that I decided to donate 20% of all sales to this Project Empowerment charity campaign.
The Kindle VA Training Program teaches how to outsource, automate and systematize 95% of the Kindle publishing process. It also provides step-by-step training videos and documents that you can send to your Virtual Assistants, to train them on almost every task of Kindle publishing. This makes it VERY easy, as you can now grow your Kindle business without having to do any of the work!

11. I will easily launch and do my first ever Kindle live mastermind event in Vancouver with my brother by April 30, 2015.

13. I will easily launch 30 CreateSpace books of my top selling Kindle books by December 31, 2015.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I achieved this goal in April 2015, launching over 30 CreateSpace books! I have a team that has converted my Kindle books into paperback and run this entire project for me, which has been super cool. Not only that, but they're nearly all doing well, making good passive income!

15. I will easily hire a new employee/assistant to help me grow my business by March 31, 2015.
Result: Hired & working with
I unfortunately had someone that was working with me fall through, as he wasn't able to put in enough time to continue working with me. However, I have expanded my team this year and have given more responsibility to certain individuals. This has been going really well, as my business has become more and more automated.

I'll be attending this event in August, but I haven't booked my ticket yet.
19. I will easily travel for 2 months to Europe with my girlfriend and celebrate our 1-year anniversary by August 31, 2015.
Result: Scheduled for May/June
I'm going to be visiting Europe at the end of May, start of June. It will likely be a 2-week trip, as opposed to 2-months as my girlfriend is limited with the time she can take off right now. Will likely do a more long-term trip later in the year.

Click here for my review of the 100 Day Challenge.
23. I will easily read or listen to at least 12 books by December 31, 2015.
Result: Read 3 books
I've read 3 books so far during 2015. I'm currently reading Get The Life You Want: The Secrets To Quick And Lasting Life Change With Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Here's a list of books that I've read so far this year:
- The Pencil Of A Promise: How An Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change
- Power Persuasion: Using Hypnotic Influence In Life, Love And Business
- Money: Master The Game
24. I will easily be certified in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) by March 31, 2015.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I achieved this goal in March, completing my 9-day NLP certification program with Harry Nichols. Harry apprenticed under Richard Brandler, the co-founder of NLP, for over 5 years. It's been a fun journey and I look forward to continuing to implement the techniques into my life.
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, which is the science of how language affects the nervous system. The techniques taught allow you to be able to re-program your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It's powerful stuff!
Contribution:
25. I will easily build 2 schools with Change Heroes by December 31, 2015.
Result: Over $9,000 raised so far!
I'm excited that so far over $9,000 has been raised for my Change Heroes campaign to build a school in Ecuador! I want to thank those that have supported this cause so much, as it's going to make a huge difference.
I also donated $3000 to another campaign in March, called Project Empowerment.
There's so many young children around the world that have no access to education or school. As a result, they are lacking basic skills such as the ability to read, write and be in an environment where they can learn/grow. They have no opportunities in life and it not only affects them on an individual left, but hurts their entire city and country. This is an area I'm passionate to make a huge difference in!
If you haven't seen the campaign yet, click here. I appreciate all support and contributions greatly!

26. I will easily be a Big Brother and mentor children by December 31, 2015.
Result: Have done interview with Big Brothers
I've completed my application, criminal record check, and now interview in February with the Big Brothers program! Now it's just scheduling in my commitment to the program, which will likely be later in the year.
Mentoring children and being a role model to others is something important to me that I always strive towards. I watched a documentary called The Bully Project last year and it really motivated me to want to make a difference by working with young kids – to be a friend, a mentor or Big Brother.
Magic Moments & Lessons Learned In April 2015
March was another awesome month! Here's some of the biggest magic moments and lessons learned.
- You Can't Please Everyone. I've been accepting more and more that I can't please everyone and instead I need to just focus on doing the best I can with the ways I know how. Some people won't like you – that's okay. You aren't for everyone.
- Automating & Moderating Comments. I've been getting overwhelmed with the number of comments I've been getting lately on my blog and YouTube channel (my YouTube channel gets over 120,000 views per month and thousands of comments). I finally had to decide to get my support team to moderate and handle all comments from here on out. I'll do the best I can to respond here and there, but it has been taking away from other priorities in my life and been a challenge to keep up with all of them.
- Continue Focusing On 1 Thing At A Time. I tend to take on a lot of things at once, however I've been getting better and better at narrowing my focus to FEWER things. This has been good for me. I've been delaying some projects and just slowly chipping away, making progress at all my goals one by one. I've also been leveraging others as much as I can.
- Stop And Smell The Roses. I've been so focused on moving forward, achieving goals and taking massive action – sometimes I forget to stop and smell the roses. It's good to just relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour. I've been doing this more and more often, enjoying myself since the weather is nicer here in Vancouver.
These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during April. Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for May. I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also. Thanks for reading!
