I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year. This is my February 2014 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.
Since sharing my January 2014 Monthly Goals Report, I received such an amazing response from people like you. People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress. It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My Goals Breakdown
I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2014 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it. Also, be sure to check out the original 2014 goals and resolution video blog and my January 2014 Monthly Goals Report to compare my progress.
Health & Fitness
1. I will easily be 160 lbs at 6% body fat and compete in the WBFF on July 26, 2014.
Result: 152 lbs at 8% body fat
Previous Month: 151.7 lbs at 8% body fat
Based on the scale, it doesn't seem like I made any progress on this goal, despite the fact that I've been working extremely hard towards it. I've continued to work out 6 days per week, doing intense cardio works, and eating extremely well. There was a few days where I didn't track my calories as well as I'd like and even went out to eat or had a few drinks, but regardless of that I thought that I'd see some more significant changes to the scale. While this was somewhat frustrating, I've been working with my coach to switch things up and break past this plateau – so we'll see how things change during March.
However, if you look at my picture (and when I look in the mirror), I feel that I look better than I did during January. I feel more lean and that my body is more dense. This could be because I started to train with weights again (in January I didn't as I was in Bali) and perhaps I even gained more water since I started taking creatine during February and have been following my diet more consistently. While I was in Bali, I was unable to track meals effectively and my workout plan and diet plan has changed radically, so perhaps now that I've had a monthly of being consistent in Vancouver, I can start to make adjustments much easier. Overall, I've learned that how I look in the mirror is far more important than the scale, as sometimes the scales can be manipulated and fluctuate.
By the way, you can compare my progress pictures from January to February by looking at the two images below. The image on the left is from January 2014, whereas the image on the right is from February 2014 (most recent).
2. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
I haven’t focused on this goal yet and plan on doing the cleanse sometime during the end of the year.
Finances
3. I will easily be making $30,000/month consistently by December 31, 2014.
Result: $42,469.01
Previous Month: $29,532.42
Wow – what a crazy month! During the month of February, I made $42,469.01 from my online businesses. The most I've ever made before this has been $30,000 in a month, so to do $42,469.01 in one month is absolutely incredible! I actually couldn't believe it first once my book keeper sent me my finances, as it was much more than I expected. Below you will be able to see my different sources of income and notes on each.
Clickbank: $17,550.17
My Clickbank earnings include my Mastering Book Publishing course, 6 other Clickbank products that I sell (which I keep private) and affiliate earnings. My Mastering Book Publishing course has been growing every month and I’ve been taking a lot of action to making it one of the best courses out there for helping people make money online. I’m very proud of the progress I’ve been making with it. I also continue to make passive income from several products that I sell on Clickbank that I started 3-4 years ago that continue to make me money on autopilot. And finally, a large portion of the income is also from affiliate earnings that I get from this blog and other websites that I have also.
During January of 2014, I made $14,514.47 on Clickbank, so I saw a huge increase during January, primarily in sales for my Mastering Book Publishing course as I've been working on ways to grow it and get it out there to help more people.
Kindle Publishing: $8,502.56
My Kindle publishing earnings include all the royalties that were deposited into my bank account for February from all 100+ Kindle e-books that I sell on Amazon. During January, I made $8,115.93 from Kindle, so my income went up quite a bit during February. This is a good sign, especially considering I unpublished many books last year and have been re-building my Kindle royalties to be a six-figure per year income source again. I also ended up hiring a killer virtual assistant during February that has been working on my Kindle empire and growing it, so this will now allow me to scale up even further this year.
ShareASale: $70.27
This is more affiliate commissions that I earned from promoting some products on my blog. Last month I made $297.75, so my income here decreased.
Commission Junction: $105.20
This is more affiliate commissions that I earned from my blog. Last month I made $184.07 from Commission Junction.
Coaching: $8220.41
During February, I ended up taking on some more coaching clients and was able to make $8220.41, which is a lot more than what I made during January. During January, I only made $1811.00 from coaching as I was traveling Bali and wasn't able to take on many more clients. I also think that since I've been being more transparent and sharing my goals, more people have been inspired and been wanting to work with me, which has been great.
Other: $8020.40
This is all a bunch of other income that wasn’t worthwhile separating into new sections, but it includes payments from a few affiliate promotions that I did, as well as earnings from Udemy and Fiverr.
Rental Income: $950
This income isn’t internet related, but I still included it since I wanted to add up my gross income for February. I have an investment property that I rent out every month – I don’t make any passive income from it, it just covers my mortgage.
Overall, this has been the best financial month of my life! The crazy thing is, my goal is $30,000 per month consistently and I definitely exceeded that. Now I just want to focus on sustaining this income of over $30,000 per month for the entire year. However, with the launch of new projects that I'm focusing on this year, I could see my income hit over $50,000 in a month, which is extremely exciting!
4. I will easily have saved at least $100,000 by December 31, 2014.’
Result: Over $40,000
I was able to save over $30,000 during February that is directly in my company savings account. This doesn’t include a investments that I made during February, I’m only tracking money that I’m putting into my savings and keeping away. I’m happy I was able to save so much in February, considering I've also been spending quite a bit to grow my business and still furnishing my new penthouse. I will easily achieve this goal by December 31st at the pace I'm moving at!
Business
5. I will easily have published at least 100 videos blogs on Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: 17 video blogs
Previous Month: 8 video blogs
During February I published 8 video blogs on ProjectLifeMastery.com, with the total for this year being 17. Here they are below:

How To Create A Blog And Set It Up In Minutes
It takes a lot of time for me to record these videos and write a blog post for each, but it’s been an enjoyable process. I’m aiming to do at least 10 per month, but if I do a minimum of 9 per month then I will achieve the goal by the end of the year. Overall, I've been a bit slower than I'd like publishing video blogs and would like to aim for a bit more each month.
6. I will easily launch my new money-making course by May 1, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t had a chance to focus on this too much right now. Currently don’t want to switch gears too much from Kindle, as I’m getting a lot of momentum in that space. Will likely begin to focus on this more in a few months.
7. I will easily launch my new Kindle service by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
I ended up achieving this goal during February and launched my Done-For-You Kindle Ready Book Packages, which sold out in one hour! I made 10 packages available that each consisted of a professionally written Kindle book consisting of over 5,000 words in a profitable niche, a quality e-cover with stock photos, as well as a description for the book. These sold for $247 each. I was absolutely blown away by how fast it sold out, as I didn't even launch it to my entire e-mail list – only my customers. Since there's such a demand for this, I'm planning on launching this again sometime in the next month or two, but will likely charge more for it as it required more of my time than I would have liked.
8. I will easily launch my own Kindle software by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
I’m super excited about this project as I have a team of software developers and designers working on it. This is my first software that I’m developing and there’s been a bit of a learning curve with it. I’m investing a lot of time and money into this, but I know it will pay off in the long-run and help a lot of people (while solving my problems too). Things couldn’t be moving along better here – hoping to get this launched in the coming months.
9. I will easily launch my new coaching program by March 1, 2014.
Result: Delayed, in progress
This goal has been slightly delayed. I've put together a new coaching program to allow people to work with me to achieve their financial goals online. I just put together the website and everything is finalized, so you should be hearing about it more in the next few days when I launch it. I'm going to continue to be working with people 1-on-1, but also am planning on putting together a special “mastermind coaching program” where I coach people in a group, as this is something that might be more affordable for people than working with me 1-on-1. I love working with people 1-on-1 and it's the most beneficial way for me to help you, but I unfortunately have to limit the amount of people I can take on at a time, which is why the mastermind group is something that will allow me to leverage myself more and reach more people.
10. I will easily complete Autoresponder Madness and implement what I learned into my business by March 1, 2014.
Result: Delayed, in progress
This project has been delayed much longer than I expected, as I realized that I need to finish some other projects that are more urgent and are required for me to complete this course. I'll definitely be getting around to this goal later, as it's still a high priority for me and it's actually one of my favourite online marketing courses ever.
11. I will easily launch the new design for Project Life Mastery by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
The new design for PLM is still in progress and coming along nicely. I'm just finishing the final details on it and wanting to make sure everything is the way that I want it before I launch it. Hopefully should be ready in the next month or so!
12. I will easily write and launch a new Kindle e-book by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved!
Yes! Another goal achieved for this year already. I wrote, launched and released my latest book called Kindle Marketing Secrets – 33 Ways To Promote Your Kindle Book And Get More Sales. So far, I've received an awesome response from it and people have been loving it. It's also selling really well and is something that will continue to make me passive income for years to come, as well as promote my Mastering Book Publishing course.
Lifestyle
13. I will easily move into the Sheraton Wall Centre penthouse on the 48th floor in downtown Vancouver by February 1, 2014.
I moved into the penthouse at the Sheraton Wall Centre on the 48th floor overlooking beautiful Vancouver on February 1st. It’s a $1.7 million dollar penthouse and it’s still surreal. Just a few years ago I was broke and struggling, living in my friends living room… and now I’m living in a penthouse! Very awesome. 🙂 I’ve now furnished the place (which was a lot of work), and now I’m still furnishing it with smaller items. I’ll have to do a video blog and give a tour of the place once everything is set up.
14. I will easily own and be driving a Corvette ZR1 by December 31, 2014.
Result: Some progress made
I didn't make any significant progress yet towards this goal, besides looking around at different Corvette's online. The biggest progress I've made so far is realizing that I want the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The challenge is that there's only so many available in Canada, as there was a limited amount made. We'll see what happens here.
15. I will easily spend a weekend in Las Vegas by August 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet.
Haven’t focused on this yet.
16. I will easily spend 2.5 weeks in Bali, Indonesia by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I spent most of January in Bali, Indonesia and had a blast. I travelled with my friend Mike and I recorded a lot of videos while there. It’s absolutely beautiful there and I highly recommend to go if you get a chance!
17. I will easily travel to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
After Bali, I ended up going to Los Angeles and then to San Diego for the Traffic and Conversion Summit. It was an amazing event – over 2,000 people attended. I was able to hangout with some friends from a mastermind group I’m apart of and meet some internet marketers that are making millions online. It was very inspirational and now I’ve got a lot to apply to my businesses for 2014 that will take things to a whole new level. I did a video blog on what I learned from the event here.
18. I will easily take a 1-week vacation and travel somewhere by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t been thinking too much about another vacation right now, as I just want to get back into a routine in Vancouver. Will be a few months before I look to travel again.
Social & Relationship
19. I will easily go out and socialize and have fun at least 3 times per week by December 31, 2014.
Result: Been going out 2 times per week
Since being back in Vancouver, I've been able to socialize a bit more and go out. I've been hanging out with friends that I haven't seen in awhile and also meeting a lot of new people, which is always fun. I'd like to go out and reach the 3 days per week point, so I need to push myself here more.
20. I will easily have a fun get together and party once a month at my penthouse by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
During February, I threw a great housewarming party and ended up having a lot of awesome friends come by. It was a really fun get together, as I haven't seen a lot of my friends in awhile. It was great to be able to celebrate and share my new place with so many people that are important to me. I'd like to continue this goal, but have smaller get togethers and parties that are more manageable for me though.
Habits & Personal Development
21. I will easily meditate 30 days in a row for 20 minutes at a time by December 31, 2014.
Result: No progress made yet
Haven’t focused on this habit yet – planning on setting a challenge for myself during March.
22. I will easily go 30 days without biting my nails by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
This goal was very easy for me to achieve once I committed myself to it. I was biting my nails for so long out of habit and once I just decided to be conscious of it and focus on changing it, it was fairly easy. I had a few times where my fingers would come up to my mouth, but I’d quickly stop myself.
23. I will easily go through Tony Robbins Personal Power II by February 1, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I just finished completing this program for the 3rd or 4th time now. My mastermind group wanted to go through it together as a group, which I agreed to. I find that everytime I go through programs again and again, I continue to get more out of it. This is a powerful program and it helped me with many of my goals also.
24. I will easily read at least 12 books by December 31, 2014.
Result: Read 1 book
I read one book during January called The Millionaire Fastlane and have continued to work on a tax book that I bought awhile ago. I've been having some challenges getting myself to read this book, as to be honest, I find taxes dull and boring. None the less, this is an area I need to pick up the slack in and really push myself to achieve. I'm going to commit to reading at least 10 pages of this book per day during March.
25. I will easily respond to friends and family members within 24 hours for 30 days straight by December 31, 2014.
Result: Goal Achieved in January!
I achieved this goal in January and did a great job with it, but I feel that I need to focus on it a bit more again. Since being back in Vancouver, I've been having a lot of people wanting to hangout with me or talk to me, which has been very overwhelming. On top of it, I continue to receive hundreds of e-mails and messages everyday through my blog and Facebook which I'd like to minimize. I've found that the more successful I've become, the MORE people want to hangout with me and be around me. High quality problem, I know… My plan is to create some new systems to better communicate with others and have my support team handle as much as they can as well.
26. I will easily perform 1 act of contribution every month (volunteer, feeding families, donating to charities) by December 31, 2014.
Result: In progress
During February, I ended up giving money to a charity that I'm passionate about. I'd like to focus more on this goal however and actually invest some time volunteering to make a difference. I've found it too easy to simply just give money, as it doesn't require my time (which is the most important thing to me right now). I find that when I give my time, I get so much more out of it and it's very fulfilling.
Final Lessons Learned In February
February was another amazing month for me where I really was able to be productive and take things to a new level. I really feel that I had an amazing balance during February and that I focused on ALL areas of my life, not just one or two. It's really remarkable the level of joy and fulfillment you feel when you are making progress in all areas of life, which is what this blog is all about.
The biggest challenge I've faced in February has been the constant attention I've been receiving from people. While I'm very blessed to be in the position that I'm in and I enjoy sharing my goals and my life so openly, one thing that has come with the territory has been the constant demand from others. Since sharing my goals, I have people that message and e-mail me everyday, asking for help or for advice. I get people on Facebook messaging me, asking to meet up or for me to help them for free. It never ends and I've found often people have been taking advantage of my willingness to be so generous and help others. I've learned that I need to start valuing my time more and setting more boundaries with it, as well as saying “no” more often. It's a challenge for me, as I want to help everyone and make everyone happy, but I know that's also unrealistic.
That's why in March, I'm going to be launching a new coaching program which will help me to help those that are committed to getting help from me. I also am going to direct more people to my support team, as I pay them $15/hour to help handle most of the questions that I receive. I've also realized that answering individual questions and e-mails isn't the best use of my time. In the hour that I spend answering a few peoples e-mails and questions, I could spend that time creating a video blog that could reach thousands of people. I need to leverage myself more and be smarter about how I invest my time.
Another big lesson I had was to slow down a bit on a few projects. Despite having some goals and projects delayed, I need to realize that it's OKAY and not get so worried about that. There's still lots of time left in the year and I'm doing extremely well. Sometimes I set too many deadlines and focus on too many things at once, so I really need to lower my load and enjoy myself more. I'd like to spend more time going out and having fun with friends, and even relax a little bit more and watch some movies (which I've been doing lately and enjoy!). I also enjoy cooking and want to spend more time in some other hobbies as well. Sometimes I forget that I'm not as desperate as I used to be, which required me to work non-stop without break, and need to remind myself that I'm doing extremely well and it's okay if some projects get delayed.
These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during February. Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for March. I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also. Thanks for reading!
