I have created a new and improved version of K Money Mastery which is called, Mastering Book Publishing!
Every month, I write a detailed monthly report about the progress that I'm making towards the goals and resolutions that I publicly stated on my blog earlier in the year. This is my May 2015 Monthly Goals Report, which goes over each goal that I set and the progress that I've made on them so far.
Since I started sharing my Monthly Goals Reports last year, I received such an amazing response from people on my blog. People have been sharing with me how much I've inspired them or how helpful it's been for them by me openly sharing my progress. It's my hope that you can take away something from this report that will help inspire you to achieve your own goals.

My 2015 Goals Breakdown
I’m now going to go into each goal that I committed to for 2015 in detail and share exactly where I’m at with it. Also, be sure to check out the original 2015 goals and resolution video blog and my previous Monthly Goal Reports to compare my progress.
Health & Fitness
1. I will easily gain 13 lbs (aiming for 7-8 lbs being muscle) and weigh 165 lbs by July 31, 2015.
Result: 163 lbs, switched up to fat loss mode early
Previous Month: 163 lbs
My progress gaining muscle since the beginning of the year has been great. I've gained nearly 13 lbs, however I know a lot of it has also been fat as well. I decided to switch things up in May to more of a “fat loss” mode, as I'm travelling and plan on doing more cardio, activity and eating less.
2. I will easily lose 5 lbs of fat and be 160 lbs, athletic and ripped by December 31, 2015.
Result: No progress yet
Just started my fat loss goal and will likely be aiming to be around 155 lbs, as I have quite a bit of fat that I'd like to lose. Will give more of an update next month!
Here's two 2 video blogs that share my exact weight loss diet plan and my weight loss workout plan in detail, if you're curious to know my plan for fat loss.
3. I will easily complete a 7-10 day cleanse using The Total Wellness Cleanse by December 31, 2015.
Result: No progress yet
Every year I do a 7-10 day cleanse to give my body a break. I enjoy The Total Wellness Cleanse, as I've done it a few times, but any raw food/juicing cleanse really nourishes my body and does wonders for it. I will be doing this later in the year.
4. I will easily do yoga 4 times per month by December 31, 2015.
Result: 1 time
In May, I only did yoga once, which means I'm coming up short on this goal! I've been traveling in May, but that's no excuse. If you want something bad enough and are committed to it, then you do it no matter what. In order for me to pick up my game and be more consistent with this goal, I need to do some work on my motivation and re-commit myself to it.
Financial
5. I will easily make at least $1,000,000 ($84,000 per month) by December 31, 2015.
Result: $72,562.93
Last Month:$65,671.60
Income climbed in May, which is great. The biggest thing I'm most happy about is how consistent my earnings has been and how truly passive it has become. This is all the result of all the systems that I've built in my business, that bring in recurring revenue. The diversity that I've established has been huge as well.
A few things that have happened with my income recently:
1. I'm not doing much 1-on-1 coaching right now, due to putting more of my time and focus into some other projects that will pay off more down the road. In the past, I was making a lot more from coaching, which is active-income. I know I can make a lot more if I choose from coaching, but I'd rather sacrifice the short-term earnings for the long-term passive income projects that I'm releasing.
2. I own a company with my brother that has been generating good cashflow. However, we haven't taken out any money from the company yet and paid ourselves – we've just left it there and been re-investing it in bigger projects. I'm not including this income in my monthly goal reports.
3. I currently own over $400,000 worth of stocks, most of which pay a monthly or quarterly dividend. This is another stream of “passive income” that I'm not including on my reports currently, as those dividend payouts just get re-invested into buying more stocks currently. However, this is income that I do report on my tax returns.
4. About 80% of my income is in US dollar. I live in Canada and right now the exchange rate to USD is pretty significant. For any US dollars that I exchange to Canadian dollars, I earn an extra 20%. However, I'm not including my exchange rate gains or income in these reports either – that's something I take care of at the end of the year on my tax return.
This income is comprised of a number of businesses and income streams that I have, such as:
- Kindle Publishing
- Including CreateSpace & Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX)
- Information Products & Courses
- Mastering Book Publishing, The 24-Hour Book System, Full Disclosure, etc…
- Affiliate Marketing
- Promoting other courses, products & services
- Coaching, Consulting & Events
- Amazon Physical Products
- Miscellaneous Income Streams
- Google Adsense, Fiverr, Udemy, etc…
- Real Estate Investments

6. I will easily invest at least $10,000 per month by December 31, 2015.
Result: Invested over $20,000
Last Month: Invested over $40,000
After reading Tony Robbins' book, Money: Master The Game, I've been super motivated to invest more of my money. I'm not a fan of having money sit around and do nothing, so I believe learning how to properly manage and invest your money is an important skill. In May I invested over $20,000 in my trading account. My plan is to continue making monthly investments and to grow my net worth massively.
I first started investing since I was 18 years old – just contributing $100/month to a mutual fund, as I learned about the power of compounding from a book called The Wealthy Barber. Today, I'm more focused on investing in stocks and index funds, as well as trying to diversify my portfolio as much as possible.
I plan on doing a video blog sharing my investing strategy and what I do with my money.

It was a great success and people have been loving it so far. It is only available to members of Mastering Book Publishing.
One of the best things about it was that I decided to donate 20% of all sales to this Project Empowerment charity campaign.
The Kindle VA Training Program teaches how to outsource, automate and systematize 95% of the Kindle publishing process. It also provides step-by-step training videos and documents that you can send to your Virtual Assistants, to train them on almost every task of Kindle publishing. This makes it VERY easy, as you can now grow your Kindle business without having to do any of the work!

15. I will easily hire a new employee/assistant to help me grow my business by March 31, 2015.
Result: Hired & working with
I unfortunately had someone that was working with me fall through, as he wasn't able to put in enough time to continue working with me. However, I have expanded my team this year and have given more responsibility to certain individuals. This has been going really well, as my business has become more and more automated.

Result: Read 4 books
I've read 4 books so far during 2015. I'm currently reading 78 Tax Tips For Canadians For Dummies.
Here's a list of books that I've read so far this year:
- The Pencil Of A Promise: How An Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, which is the science of how language affects the nervous system. The techniques taught allow you to be able to re-program your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It's powerful stuff!
Contribution:
25. I will easily build 2 schools with Change Heroes by December 31, 2015.
Result: Over $9,540 raised so far!
I'm excited that so far over $9,540 has been raised for my Change Heroes campaign to build a school in Ecuador! I want to thank those that have supported this cause so much, as it's going to make a huge difference.
I also donated $3000 to another campaign in March, called Project Empowerment.
There's so many young children around the world that have no access to education or school. As a result, they are lacking basic skills such as the ability to read, write and be in an environment where they can learn/grow. They have no opportunities in life and it not only affects them on an individual left, but hurts their entire city and country. This is an area I'm passionate to make a huge difference in!
If you haven't seen the campaign yet, click here. I appreciate all support and contributions greatly!

26. I will easily be a Big Brother and mentor children by December 31, 2015.
Result: Have done interview with Big Brothers
I've completed my application, criminal record check, and now interview in February with the Big Brothers program! Now it's just scheduling in my commitment to the program, which will likely be later in the year.
Mentoring children and being a role model to others is something important to me that I always strive towards. I watched a documentary called The Bully Project last year and it really motivated me to want to make a difference by working with young kids – to be a friend, a mentor or Big Brother.
Magic Moments & Lessons Learned In May 2015
May was another awesome month! Here's some of the biggest magic moments and lessons learned.
- My 29th Birthday! On May 3rd, I celebrated my 29th birthday and had some friends over for a party. We watched the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight. Was such an awesome day of celebration!
- I hosted my Birthday Google Hangout. This was a big success, being able to spend time with fans and answer their questions, interacting with them and just hanging out!
- Taking Time Off. Whenever I travel or take a vacation, I'm just always reminded in the value of taking time off and relaxing. It really helps to recharge me and re-motivate me towards my goals.
- I Love Passive Income! I've been seeing more and more the benefits of passive income, and more so enjoying the REWARDS of it. It's allowed me to take the time off and not have to worry about money or anything. It's a truly amazing feeling to be earning money while on vacation, without working.
- Know That You're Going To Be Wrong. This is something from Ray Dalio, a billionaire hedgefund manager. He KNOWS he will be wrong and doesn't expect to always be right. This is useful, because the truth is, whenever you set a goal the chances of it being delayed are likely. This has been my case recently with a number of my goals. So if you know you're going to be wrong, a goal will be delayed, then you can expect and prepare for it.
These are some of the biggest lessons that I stand out for me during May. Overall, I enjoyed putting this Monthly Goals Report together and I look forward to doing one again for June. I’ve found that this public commitment has been pushing me to stay motivated and accountable as well, which is helping me to get more done also. Thanks for reading!
