I would like to share with you my life plan and how to create a vision, purpose & goals for your life. This will help you to learn how to write a life plan.
I am a firm believer that if you aren’t growing, you’re dying. At the end of your life, what matters most is not what you acquired, but who you became.
Having a vision is what makes life more exciting and worthwhile. What is it that makes you get out of bed every morning? If you don’t have a plan for your life, you will be a part of someone else’s plan. This is why it's important to learn how to write a life plan.
In the words of Jim Rohn, “If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

Create your future today. Why wait until tomorrow? Be proactive. The first step to learning how to write a life plan is simply to start. The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus the most energy on, you will attract into your life. Everything that I have and am today is something that I have consciously created.
It started as a belief, and I focused consistently on my vision, purpose & goals until I manifested what I desired. I have created financial abundance, confidence, happiness, love, and so much more. All by learning how to write a life plan.
I am proof that this works. A vision is meant to inspire and move you. The clearer you are about your vision, the greater the impact that you will have in the world. When I create my life vision, I operate from a place of fearlessness and limitlessness.
By choosing to adopt this belief system, everything becomes possible. Here is a snapshot of my vision:
My ultimate vision for my life is to be a person who is truly a leader in the world. Someone who positively impacts millions of people’s lives through my incredible vision, determination, courage, passion, creativity, caring, and commitment. I constantly help improve the quality of people’s lives worldwide by fulfilling my purpose in life of growing and giving. I am a multimillionaire and successful entrepreneur that has world-class businesses, products and services that changes people’s lives worldwide. I am financially free and live in total abundance doing what I want, with whomever I want, whenever I want. I continuously grow and evolve who and what I am to my maximum potential, being the best that I can be each day, while sharing my gifts with millions of people around the world through my blog, articles, videos, social media, products, services, events and coaching. I am a philanthropist and a force for good that is dedicated to helping those in need with areas that I am committed to serving in….
When I read my vision out loud, I get goose bumps. Most people have never experienced the peak level of emotion and motivation that you can have when you tap into a vision that is greater than you. I know that my vision will become my reality no matter what, and that it may evolve and change as time goes on.
As the Bible says, “Without a vision, people perish.” When you live a life of purpose, you are in alignment with your true self, which allows you to tap into a higher power and turn your dreams into a reality. What is your purpose in life? Why do you do what you do?
In the words of Jack Canfield, “You see, without a purpose in life, it’s easy to get sidetracked on your life’s journey. It’s easy to wander and drift, accomplishing little. But with a purpose, everything in life seems to fall into place. To be “on purpose” means you’re doing what you love to do, doing what you’re good at and accomplishing what’s important to you. When you truly are on purpose, the people, resources, and opportunities you need naturally gravitate toward you. The world benefits, too, because when you act in alignment with your true life purpose, all of your actions automatically serve others.”
Write your purpose down, and read it out loud every day, as part of your morning ritual. Tony Robbins talks about the power of incantations. Don’t just read your purpose, but feel it.
Speak about it with passion and engage all of your senses. Here is a snapshot of my purpose:
My ultimate purpose in life is to humbly serve God by being a powerful and passionate example of the unlimited possibilities that life offers to any of us the moment that we acknowledge and rejoice in our creator’s gifts to sincerely love and serve in all his creations. To live life to the fullest, to create magic moments, to be fulfilled and happy on a daily basis. To live a life on my terms and to never settle for anything less than what I can be, do, give or create, because the secret of living is giving. I want to fulfil my potential as a human being on this planet; to be a living example of infinite possibilities of the human spirit, to be an inspiration and role model to others, to be remembered and create a legacy beyond my years, to be a leader and mentor to millions of people around the world, to live a life of peak experiences, to be financially free and to have the freedom to do what I want, whenever I want. To travel the world with the woman that I love, Tatiana. This is what God has put me here for – to live my mission and purpose in life, to feel proud of whom I am, what I’ve accomplished, to be fully alive so that I can live to be 100 years old….
Your purpose may be totally different than mine, and that’s OK. By feeling and experiencing my purpose every day, it allows me to manifest what I want. I created a life plan book, which is a powerful visual representation of what I want to achieve in my life.
In that book, I break down my life into 7 core areas, a model that I originally learned from Tony Robbins. This is a great step when you are learning how to write a life plan. I have a vision and SMART goals for each area of my life:
1. Physical body
This represents how you feel. What is the vision for your physical body? How do you want to look? For example, I want to have peak levels of energy, I want to live to be 100 years old, etc. Make sure you look at how to write a life plan when you examine health.
For instance, many will set short resolutions, such as losing weight, building muscle or what they want for their physical body now. After they have achieved that goal, it “yo yos” and goes back to the old way of being. This doesn’t help with the overall vision you have for your physical health.
Instead, look at your health from a long term perspective. What do you want it to look like 5 years from now, how about 10? What do you want your physical health to be like when you are older?
This all matters. What you do now for your health is going to manifest not only now, but also later. Make sure your physical health and fitness looks at the long-term goals and what you want for the rest of your life.
2. Mind and Emotions
Your mind is comprised of your attitude and beliefs. This is what determines your behaviour. Rid yourself of limiting beliefs and elevate your vibration by thinking empowering thoughts every day. If I did not focus my attitude and thoughts on positive beliefs, such as manifesting millions of dollars or finding the love of my life, then it never would have happened.
It was the commitment to empowering thoughts and a different mindset that allowed me to reach the goals I wanted to. If you want to know how to write a life plan, then make sure you look at what your mindset and belief systems are.
Are you positive or negative with the beliefs you have? How do you respond or react with your attitude in any situation you have?
What do you want this to look like in 10 or 20 years? Empower your thoughts and belief systems by looking at what you want your beliefs to be: today, tomorrow and in the future. This becomes one of the most effective tools for developing your life plan and achieving your goals. Emotions are what encompass your experiences in life. When you master your mind and your emotions, you master your life.
3. Relationships
I believe that we are born out of unconditional love. This area of your life can provide the greatest emotional juice that trumps everything else. True love and passion are irreplaceable. Relationships amplify your experience in life.
Who will you share your life with? Use vision boards or other methods to decide who your ideal partner will be.
Look at the character, attributes and even how they look. Decide on that person that fits who you are and which compliments you. Relationships aren’t limited to the person you spend your life with. Also look at the surrounding relationships in your life. When you look at how to write a life plan, examine who else you want in your life.
Those who are the most successful and wealthy surround themselves with others that are also wealthy and successful. They assist each other in reaching life goals and continuing to accelerate in life.
Who is surrounding you? Who are you in a relationship with? More importantly, what do they bring to you that either helps you or causes unwanted circumstances? Look at the type of individuals you want to surround yourself with and understand how they can help you in life to activate your life plan.
4. Career/Business
This encompasses your mission in life. Ideally, you want to make sure that your career fulfils you and helps support your vision. The great addition that is a part of this time is that our career and business has more expansive opportunities. You have the capacity to make millions of dollars online, travel around the world, work in a corporation or build a unique trade or skill that didn’t exist even 30 years ago.
What that means is that your life plan can significantly change based on what you want to fulfill. When you are looking at how to write a life plan, don’t leave out the ability for your career to merge with your lifestyle.
You can build your career and business in different ways, influencing as many people as you would like and implementing the dreams you have. There are no limits in your career or business and what you want in your life plan.
I want to reiterate that your life plan doesn’t need to consist of what you need now, whether it is more money or passive income. It consists of your career and business for your life. It means that your lifestyle, your business goals, all can have a larger picture. What do you want your career and business to bring to you when you are 65? Look at what you want to accomplish in your life, specifically so you can build the business you want.
What kind of lifestyle do you want?
5. Finances
Money is a part of life. Make sure that you have a plan for that. What would you do with your money? Would you give it away, build houses, buy nice cars, etc.? Again, don’t look only at the short term goals with your finances.
When we are in a state of lack, we often think of finances as being able to pay the bills or to get by. When we start learning how to write a life plan and limit it to this, then we are discounting the possibilities for finances in the future.
When I was living on my friend’s futon, my financial goal was to make an extra $300 a month off passive income. That’s because I knew with that money I could change my financial situation and have my own place. Over time, I learned that setting those short term goals only gave short term results.
I started to dream bigger, think bigger and to move into a different state of mind with the goals I set for my finances. It is possible for you to have complete abundance, prosperity and to be in a state of financial freedom.
But you have to start by learning how to write a life plan where your finances allow you to grow over time. Set your financial plans and goals into motion now, even if it is money to retire in 10 years. It’s important to continue looking at this outlook and to break this into shorter goals as a part of your life plan.
6. Social Life (Family, Friends, Fun)
Not many people think about it, but it is so important to always be moving in a positive direction with your family. Go on epic trips together, share more, communicate more often, help each other more often, etc.
Your family is where you will find the biggest source of love. This is your blueprint that will manifest into your relationships, so it’s important that you maintain healthy relationship with your family members.
Who you surround yourself with is who you become. Surround yourself with like-minded people who inspire and elevate you. Consciously decide and create a vision for the people in your life. Use this when you look at how to write a life plan.
Most importantly, remember to have fun! Life is short. Enjoy every moment, smile more, and be grateful.
7. Spiritual Life
In the words of Wayne Dyer, “We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” Life is more than just our bodies. Our spirit is greater. Having a spiritual practice enhances your entire experience in life.
There are a lot of challenges in life. If you can become more conscious and have faith in a higher purpose, it will enrich your life in ways that are indescribable. Understand how to write a life plan by including your spiritual essence as a foundation. When it comes to creating my life plan, I break it down into three areas:
Vision:
In order to create this, spend some alone time and put yourself in a state where you imagine that anything is possible. I like to take it one step further and frame a copy of my vision and put it in my office so that I can focus on it every day.
It’s easy to forget about your vision. I find that physically seeing it serves as an empowering reminder. This is why it's important to learn how to write a life plan. I also have a vision board. I like to take visual images of the life that I desire and put it on my wall.
Part of my morning ritual is that I look at my board and I speak about it, with energy and passion. I imagine and feel that I am living it, as if it were already my reality. A vision board stimulates you and makes your vision REAL.
Purpose:
Your purpose is why you want your vision to be a reality. Take out a journal and write it down in detail as you learn how to write a life plan.
Goals:
Your vision may be long-term, but your goals are the more realistic, attainable pieces of your vision. It's important to have monthly and yearly goals. These are the consistent steps that you take in order to get to where you want to be.
These are the steps will make your vision a reality. The more that you focus on how to create a vision, purpose & goals for your life, the faster you will get to where you want to be.
For those of you that want to go deeper with this exercise, I also have a vision, purpose & goals for my business, which goes into where I want to take ProjectLifeMastery.
Initially, a lot of people get really excited about starting a business, but overtime, they lose some passion around it.
I break down the vision, purpose & goals that I have for different areas of my business – marketing, my team, product development, company culture, customer support, finances, accounting, etc. Hopefully you understand the benefit and power of this exercise.
When you learn how to create a vision, purpose & goals for your life, anything is possible. Oprah Winfrey said it best – “Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.” Believe in yourself and take massive action.
In doing so, it will unleash your power and enable you to create the life that you have always dreamed of.
